Kawasaki W800

ይህን ቪዲዮ እርዳታ ያደረገው እናንተ?

TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS: @RocknLester2011 So it’s not another copy bike (duplicate) of another machine. Glad you agree and we got that straight.

saroun11: true bike

latania2005: Nice try, but the Kawasaki ‘Wrange was first produced in the sixties, and yes it took it’s styling cues/engine configuration from english and even american bikes that had gone before. The first bonnevilles were produced in the fifties, and it was thier own design!

latania2005: LOL, thankyou Kawawsaki for inventing a sixties style bike with a parallel twin

otto black: love the style, would love one, only thing not to like, is the lack of the sound of the classic 650s and 750s, listen to u tube bsa thunderbolt, u will know what I mean, they sound as frantic as a 4 ክብ ዐምድ. would be near perfect otherwise.

RocknLester2011: you believe what you want. whatever floats yer boat they say.

Francesco Ulivieri: A true connoisseur of bikes! ተለክ!

sdipper7: too much wind noise. Need to hear the engine.

RocknLester2011: Thanks man. its almost impossible to write comments on here!

RocknLester2011: @TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS well look at the classic Brit bikes. for ex BSA, በድል,Norton etc little bit of each!Im not saying its a bad copy, just stating an opinion, thats all, nothing more to read into!

RaptorGP: Mmmm, such a nice bike!

TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS: @RocknLester2011 Just as a matter of interesta copy of what? The old W650 was produced before the Hinckley Bonneville. Styling cues from the 60s in a modern machine with modern technology does not equate to a copy, Or does 2 cylinders and 2 wheels make it a copy?

Gull03: . great video.

latania2005: Triumph were making ‘modernBonnevilles in the eighties with electric starter and ignition, that is distinctly different from the original. But what one calls ‘modernis subjective. እና, as I said earlier the W650 is based on their early ‘Wrange of bikes which were a blatant COPY of the bonneville, both in styling and being parallel twins.

You Sir, are a fraud of the highest order. LOL

dodgydave9118: Care the less if it IS a copy, I love it! Old Brit bike styling with fiercely reliable Japanese technology (apart from that drum brake on the back. hmm). What’s not to like?

RocknLester2011: another copy bike from the jappers!

Michael Campbell: Oh yeah nice bike too!

TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS: Yawn, Firstly you are incorrect regarding the W Series, They were based on the BSA A7 / A10. Secondly you don’t understand what COPY means in the sense of duplicate. I have explained below fundamental technical differences that make the word copy in the sense of duplicate inappropriate re. the W650.

The point I’m labouring to make is that the W650 was unique in terms of combining 1960’s styling cues with, ለምሳሌ, an engine design that makes it technically distictive thus not a copy.

wannatroll: drum brake. less maintenance. not ass effective, but this bike isn’t about performance.

latania2005: እሺ

GueliPress: @dodgydave9118 I like this motorbike, it’s a real fun to drive, simply and good chassis and engine. Rear Brake it’s nostalgic and correct power. try this

Ali Yorgancioglu: reat bike. What brand are your gloves in this video? Thanks..

Kawasaki W800

Michael Campbell: dont give that meathead the breath it takes to explain what you meant. Everyone these days wants an explanation for any comment someone says. Its another japper copy, plain and simple.

Let him waste his time trying to figure whether you mean something good or bad, and if it bothers him that much dont read the comments.

latania2005: LOL, they are not connected. other than they are made by the same manufacturer, look the same, have a parallel twin and start with a ‘W’. Please just accept that your trusty W650 would not exist if it was not for the original Bonneville, which was COPIED by Kawasaki. Who can blame them though. not me!

Gunther Von Klinkenberger: Oh that can be sorted with a pair of open pipes my friend!

TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS: Oh and another point. The W650 and W800 are unconnected with the W1, W2 or W3 other than by being parallel twins with a 360° crankshaft and a model code that begins with W.

TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS: It’s not a question of a nice try. I am correct. The superb W650 (I have owned a 1999 model from new) – was a unique concepta modern day revamp of a 1960’s style machine.

It is NOT a copy of anything. British twin-cylinder motorcycles of the period had pushrod engines, the W650 is distinctive in having a shaft-driven bevel-gear overhead camshaft, There is no real link between the new and old Bonnevilles and the new Triumph FOLLOWED the W650 concept..I also own a superb 2012 Bonneville SE

o0L4nc3r0o: I’m usually more a fan of the modern bikes, but I must say that both the ካዋሳኪ W800 and the Triumph Bonneville are very beautiful, amazing bikes. )

John Mosey: You got that right bro. I had a 1973 Bonneville.

TRUFFLEHOUNDEXPRESS: መልክ, try and understand. We all know the W650 ( I own one) and the new Bonneville (I own one) were heavily cosmetically influenced by the original Bonneville. I’m simply saying that it is a fact that the W650 is technically different. If you think all parallel twin engines are the same – ,read up.

ይረዱ – the W650’s engine is significantly different from the original Bonneville and cannot be described as a COPY in the sense of duplicate.
