IT HAS TAKEN YEARS OF VICTORIOUS COMPETITIONS, NIGHTS OF PASSION AND WORK IN THE APRILIA RACING DEPARTMENT, IN-DEPTH STUDIES AND NUMEROUS TESTS TO REACH THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMISATION OF THE RSV4 FACTORY CHASSIS AS IT IS TODAY. THE RSV CHASSIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A BENCHMARK IN THE RACING WORLD: BUT EVEN THIS TIME THE APRILIA ENGINEERS HAVE EXCEEDED THEMSELVES.

GOING BEYOND PERFECTION.

ALUMINIUM FRAME The aluminium frame is state-of-the-art technology for everyone to see, made with forged and pressed elements in the Aprilia tradition. It boasts a high level of torsional and flexional rigidity, providing the rider with absolute control and a perfect feel as he goes into a bend and as he is going round it. Even the swingarm, the result of Aprilias experience in racing competitions, is a rigid and very light combination of forged and pressed aluminium elements which provide extreme responsiveness when setting the multi-adjustable hlins Racing suspensions.

A PERFECT BALANCE An engine as exclusive as the 65 V-4 deserved a perfect position in the frame, with technical solutions and adjustment possibilities on a par with a racing prototype. Perfect centralisation of the masses and distribution of the weights (52% at the front, 48% at the back) has been improved on still further thanks to the tank position, with fuel mostly under the saddle in order to optimise balancing between a full and empty tank.

BRAKES READY FOR THE RACE The front braking system is powerful, precise and modular. Brembo monoblock Serie Oro 4-piston callipers are used with a radial pump, a dual 320mm disc with asymmetric perforation and an originally designed aluminium flange. The rear brake has Brembo Serie Oro 2-piston callipers fixed directly on the swingarm with a 220mm disc: the very best available today on the racing technology scene.

VERY LIGHT RIMS Another new feature are the forged aluminium rims: their original design further decreases the weight – approximately 1 kg less than the previous models – resulting in reduced unsprung mass inertia which improves the motorcycles responsiveness to each touch of the rider. STEERING DAMPER hlins Racing is also the adjustable steering damper, perfect stability at high speeds and millimetric precision when going into a bend.

CASSETTE TYPE GEARBOX Ready for the track solutions also for the gearbox: cassette-type. With this expedient the ratios can be changed quickly and maintenance is simple. The clutch is equipped with a mechanical slipper system to optimise engine braking control and stability under hard braking.

Made entirely in titanium with a carbon terminal, the Akrapovic exhaust for use on the racetrack weighs less than 5 kg and, guaranteeing increased torque and power, improves acceleration when coming out of a bend. The thermoformed top fairing increases aerodynamic penetration and protection against turbulence and high speeds. Made especially for the RSV4 Factory, the hlins TTX shock absorber is completely adjustable with mountings machined from single billets of metal.

The aluminium footrests, also machined from single billets of metal, can be adjusted in 9 different positions and allow micrometric calibration of the gear and brake controls. You can tailor your RSV4 Factory in its appearance and improve its performance on the track with a complete range of special accessories. Components in carbon fibre to lighten and enhance its prestige. Mirror covers, number plate cases, half-handlebar and other elements machined from single billets of metal.

Protection buffers with an original triangular shape protect the bodywork, giving it a more aggressive look. Customised service stand and RSV 4 breathable bike cover for just another touch of class. Aprilia has even thought about the rider with a range of high level rider accessories. The RSV4 full face helmet in composite fibre weighs less than 1300 grams and has been developed in collaboration with professional riders to offer the very best performance.
