The Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC Carbon Special Edition is a unique motorcycle which represents the very best in specification available from Aprilia and our technical partners.

Thanks to the fifth place earned in race 2, Biaggi brought the point gap to 63 points between him and Leon Haslam (Suzuki), who was the last rider in contention for the title (413 to 350). A gap impossible to fill with only the French round at Magny Cours to go until the end of the season. Max Biaggi – with his fifth title after four consecutive world championships, from 1994 to 1997 in the 250 class – is the first Italian World Superbike champion.

Smrz Switches From Ducati to Aprilia!

There will now be one more RSV4 machine on the starting-grid at Brno following a last-minute decision by the Pata BG Racing Team to switch machinery from Ducati to Aprilia. Czech rider Jakub Smrz therefore will now be lining up for his home round on the proven race-winning RSV4 bike while the joint team managers Marco Borciani and Mirco Guandalini have bigger ambitions for the second half of the season.

We really wanted to reach this deal, declared Borciani and Guandalini. We are confident that as a result of this collaboration, we will be able to prepare for Smrz the best machine in Superbike, if we look at the overall standings.

Four Aprilia RSV4’s in Monza

This weekend’s upcoming round of the World Superbike Championship at Monza will not only see Yukio Kagayama debuting with the famous Yoshimura Suzuki racing team, but also an Italian CIV team.

Fabrizio Pellizzon and Federico Sandi who race in the CIV championship for Team Gabrielli and will wild card in the fifth round with their official Aprilia RSV4 F machines.

MotoBlog.it is reporting that Aprilia is set to release a race-spec replica of its RSV4 superbike.It is not yet clear whether there will be a version approved for road use but it will soon be available replication of the track ready Aprilia RSV4 in World Superbike racing with Max Biaggi and Leon Camier.
