Aprilia Tuareg 750 – Dream?

So you are one of the guys who enjoys adventure riding. Not the one that all black top riding, leave to Goldwing owners. You want to off the beaten path, exploring roads and riding where no exist at all.

If you happen to in USA, your bike are pretty limited. You have GS that could handle light off roading at best, V-Strom with similar or all new Ducati Multistrada that with 17″ wheels. You can always for KLR but it was designed in 80′s and isn’t fun on the road.

There are many bikes could possibly work for but each one of them presents kind of compromise. BMW F800GS like a good all around but you want something more than anemic Beemer. I your prayers have answered.

Please welcome Tuareg.

It has all necessary ingredients to perfect adventure bike the character:

Eye pleasing style

designed and made

750 cc V-Twin that is perfect for adventure

21″ and 18″ wheels to handle the roughest

Good suspension

It will be fun of and off the It will be exciting to look at. It sound great. You will be to take it to the most remote on earth.

Aprilia has a potential coming if they get few things – fuel economy, gas and luggage and wind management – white the bike lightweight. If they are to create perfect blend of components, this bike sell like hot cakes. Can do it?

I have been an Aprilia DS since 2003 and superb but a bit heavy. I have both the 1200 and 800 GS over kms in the Alpes both tar and dirt and has done it for me. Bring this on! If it about 185kg wet has marzochi up with cartridges Sachs out with comp damping and maps I’m on the beast :))

LivewireRacing Says:

I’ve thinking of converting a Dorsoduro for dual sport adventure. I the narrow V twin and relatively weight. But, wheels, changes, bags, hand a real bash plate…it just be too much effort.

If can do the right thing with the then they have, at one buyer stateside.

Frank Says:
