SOLD. 2007 Aprilia RSV 1000 R – CLEAR TITLE! – #x0024;6900 (Northwest – Culebra/410)

Culebra Rd at Reed Rd

SOLD. 2007 Aprilia RSV 1000 R

3724 Miles — may increase a bit if I ride it

Clear Texas title in hand!

It comes with BOTH original keys and the original owner’s manual.

The bike has never been wrecked or dropped. It’s in GREAT shape, garaged, covered, washed and waxed etc.

*Brand new battery (picked it up this week!)

*Rear seat.

-It has rear cowl with ‘secret storage’ on it now, but the seat’s obviously included.

*ThrottleMeister cruise control.

*Converted to tool-less seat access.

-The original uses bolts to remove the seat. Now it has studs with a cotter pin locking the seat.

*Wired for BatteryTender.

-BatteryTender Plus included.

The bike also comes with;

*Rear stand with wheels (It says or something on it, but it’s identical to this;

-It lifts up rear wheel off the ground — makes chain lube etc. real easy.

*Full bike cover.

*Battery Tender Plus intelligent charger.

All electrical works, warning lights, brake lights, signals, horn. There’s a clock in the dash and several functions that I never even tried, like the lap timer. It has a top-speed memory, battery voltage and other functions in the dash.

The rear fender eliminator was installed to remove that giant alien thing Aprilia puts on there from factory.

The suspension is adjustable Ohlins forks in the front and a Sachs (if I remember right) adjustable rear shock. You can also adjust the brake and clutch levers so they feel right to you.

The tool-less seat access is nifty, but I don’t know why Aprilia couldn’t use the key lock for the seat like with the rear seat or cowl. The cowl is currently in place instead of the rear seat. THAT unlocks with the key and can be swapped in seconds.

The cowl has a little ‘hidden’ compartment in it where you can put your insurance/registration papers etc.

My wrists and back are complaining more and more these days, but I still love riding. I don’t *need* to sell it, nor am I in a rush, so please don’t send me the I’ll give you $4000 for it! emails. If I wanted to get bent over, I’d go to jail.

NADA price guide has retail price at $7760. Obviously I’m not a dealer, so retail doesn’t apply.

KBB suggests $6400, but they also base it on 23000 miles – mine only has 3000!

I’ve looked on Craigslist and there are very few of these out there, but they all have more miles on them and look more used, with stickers and stuff on them. This bike is very clean and not a stunter or raced bike. No wheelies, no abuse.

It’s been pleasure riding and commuting.

Test rides make me nervous. At the very least you’ll need to show me your motorcycle endorsement on your license. If you show up on your own motorcycle, that goes a long way to build trust.

I think this about covers it. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. I can also snap pictures of any particular detail I might have missed and you want to see.

Since I (sadly) might get out of motorcycling and have gained some weight, I might be persuaded to part with my helmet/jacket/gloves/pants if need be. I have mostly Fieldsheer armored gear. I have some cold weather gloves too that I used in Denver when it was really cold (like the last couple of days here).

I also have ear plugs, a little spare oil, a spray can of Protect-All bike polish etc.

By the off chance you need parts for a late 90’s Volvo 960, V90 or S90, I have headlights and some trim pieces too, along with an intake manifold and exhaust manifold plus some speedometer clusters.
