New Arctic Cat Snowmobiles for 2012

If you learned anything from the big news out of Thief River for 2012 is technology.  For its 50 th Anniversary, Cat has the bar with two new chassis designs a new and different looking front and loads of other new technology.  we will go through each line to show you everything new the 2012 Arctic Cats.

F (6 models)

The 2012 F and XF models the new ProCross chassis. This design has a tapered two-piece to add strength to the rear of the chassis, tapering the top of the tunnel to 15-inches for ergos. The new ARS front suspension the A-arms to the frame in a 30-degree to improve cornering and reduce

ProCross XF (6

The XF models, formerly the Crossfire, similar chassis design, but a longer tunnel and 15 x 141 x 1.5-in. track (Sno Pro) for off-trail performance, while the on-trail handling characteristics of the F. This delivers a tighter radius than the Crossfire, a natural handlebar position and ride quality while standing or sitting.

The XF800 LXR a 4.5-in. handlebar riser rear storage bag, start, medium-height windshield, lug track and Fox Zero Pro gas shocks. models feature a heated for added comfort. The other XF feature the spring-less Fox Float air to reduce weight but still a full range of tuning

ProClimb (7 models)

All of the M-Series sleds from Arctic Cat are in the new chassis for 2012. The ProClimb is to the ProCross, but with a vertical post and single bell-crank for a standup riding position. It features the new ARS front suspension wider A-arm spacing, and spindles with ball-joints.

On the suspension, the new Tri-Hub rear system adds strength and weight, while a combination of Fox Pro and Fox Float  shocks handle duties. The M800 and M1100 come with push reverse, a 15 x 153 x 2.25-inch Powerclaw as well as a 162-inch option on the The standard M-Series has Fox Zero Pro while the SnoPro versions Fox Float 2 shocks plus a low deluxe speedometer and front

The HCR (Hill Climb Racer) is as a 800 or 1100 Turbo. Special separate the HCR from the other models. With no

Entry Level models are the F5 LXR and the Sno Pro 500.

Two-Up Touring (4

The T570 is the entry-level model for touring but still features comforts of its bigger brothers. in the Twin Spar chassis, the offers push button reverse, ACT Diamond Drive, rear suspension, electric and a two-up seat with passenger backrest.

The TZ1 models are with every possible and convenience feature and is powered by the 4-… engine. It is built on Twin Spar chassis. The list of comfort features a heated driver seat and seat, removable passenger fiberglass overload springs, start, push-button reverse, passenger grips with deflectors and a 12-volt accessory

The LXR models take comfort to the level and include Fox Zero Pro ski adjustable handlebars, premium package and three removable bags. For an extra boost of the LXR is available in a 177-hp Turbo for the ultimate in comfort and performance.

The Touring models include the TZ1, TZ1 LXR and TZ1 Turbo LXR.

Bearcat (5 models)

The Bearcat can be a touring snowmobile, a utility or both. Designed for more than play, the lineup with the Bearcat 570. It is with either a 570cc two-… engine or a 1100cc with EFI.

It includes start, push-button reverse, wide plastic skis, passenger seat and a 15 x 151 x 1.25-in. track.

The XT models further a 17-gallon fuel tank, storage, articulating rear with fiberglass overload heavy-duty front bumper and a 20 x 154 x track. The Bearcat Z1 XT Limited with a third seat, storage bag, plug-in heater, deluxe gauge, windshield and heated driver

The Bearcat Z1 XT Groomer Special is a snowmobile, specifically designed for businesses and organizations to pull a groomer for feeder trails or trails. It has an extra wide and long 20 x 156 x 1.25-in.  track and the slide rail suspension. to the Groomer Special are special aimed at trail grooming: a winch; a rear light bar flood- light and

beacon; an auxiliary radiator under the seat; handlebar- and winch switches and a rear outlet.

Youth (1 model)

The Arctic Cat Sno Pro 120 for 2012 basically unchanged as an way to introduce young riders to the of snowmobiling.
