Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi, term review.

Engine : . Sheer delight . (add ). It just begs to be revved, and its got a good tune too! I taken it to 8,500 rpm (redlines at 9K and there wasnt even one bad ( in all gears except the 4th and 5th — gone beyond 95kmph at 105+ in 5th). And its deceptively and silent when you’re it nice and easy – rev it, and it turns the hooligan that it is!

16 horses are more than par for the The best part about the is its seamless acceleration. Traffic are a delight, cos you’ll always be the junta. (There’s a new 200+cc supposedly for the bike)

Brakes : stop the bike on a coin. The front brake has MASSIVE – and the rear’s good as well.

But one really get used to the braking you try stoppies or hard braking – the brake pedal isnt right, so a lil slip there, and end up getting deep bruises(gravity and arent always good).

Ride Handling : Its amongst the in class, tackles the bad roads and is very stable at all speeds, to the new longer wheelbase and the lower height (because of the smaller 17″ The wind is pretty much at your shoulders, so there’s not wind hitting your even at 90+ speeds.

Looks and Well, its a great looking especially head-on, with “I’ll chew you up for dinner” – that beaky fairing. The lamp’s good – and the new Pulsar year will probably LED taillamps and ducatesque headlamps, amazing. The current 180’s come with an all black on the mechanicals – something that I quite fancy, though the wheels look cool!

Living with it:

The engine’s and growl are awesome. The lights are The headlight beam is even and well spread. The average is too. I’m getting about to a litre of unleaded – driven start revving it and expect like 38-40kmpl.

The mirrors are I would’ve preferred wider

The best part about the is that you can leave it idle for a few and then get her started on first or on first thumbing of the starter. And no change in the engine note You can take it out for a revving session, like that.

I hate the way one has to twist their towards the brake pedal, it been more straightforward, or at the recesses in the tank should’ve better. The tyres are pretty in the wet, and on most dry surfaces, but if a bit of sand around tend to loose traction on sand/sandy

One more thing to watch for – the doesnt appreciate fast changes from 3rd to 4th.

As a shot, I’ll let the Business caption the bike:
