Hi, I am Navjot Singh from In September I got a new bike from my This is a brand new Bajaj 220 F misty silver!

About Pulsar 220 F:

It is now 2 month old and now running very good. I its smooth and aggressive ride.

Maximum speed till now: 124 km/h.

average: 38 km/liters.

Maximum 52 km/liters.

I am a college student B.E in computers. My daily usage is 40 kms. Which is mainly on therefore my driving conditions are and I easily achieved such !

On paper: The Bajaj Pulsar 220 is powered by 4-…, single DTS-i (Digital Twin Ignition) engine with a of 220cc.The engine is air and oil cooled. The engine produces a maximum of 21.04 bhp @ 8500 rpm and a maximum is 19.12 @ 7000 Nm. Pulsar 220 India’s Biggest 32 venturi with carb controlled ignition along with digital CDA ignition is used.

practical experience, Pulsar 220 is very aggressive and responsive. On with a little twist the comes to 100 Km/h in no time. 120 km/h can be achieved so easily one could expect from 220 cc I feel this bike is only up to 8500 rpm’s. that bike feels and engine become noisy.

Overtaking is never a problem on bike.

With oil cooler, one can hundreds of kilometers without stress.

Suspensions are really good and do Duty well. Highway is very impressive, thanks to suspension which suits for highways and for city also. suspension is adjusted in very manner that on hard bike does not lean too to front to avoid rider during emergency barking.

are really good. Totally inspiring. I follow 60% front and 40% brake pressure during and brakes stops bike in no Really impressive.

Though rear brake needs to replace very on my visit to Bajaj service I saw many people complained the poor life of rear pads.

Pulsar 220 F features compound tubeless IRC Tyres are very responsive and very These tyres provide grip on wet and dry roads. Pulsar 180 MRF Zappers which are well for their quality performance but in 220 IRC tyres are on Duty, which I excellent on Roads. Soft tyres inspire confidence on during high speeds and hard braking conditions .

220 F comes with 55W ellipsoidal for beam and 55W Projectors for Low beam. are 12 V 9V Full DC and are really effective. whitish and bright light other 2- wheelers which little yellowish lights.

220 is the first bike whose really impressed me.

Very affect of cross winds. stable on highways.

Speedometer battery low indicator, engine oil low engine over heat, oil choke indicators. Dual meters and side stand are good feature.

220 is a high category bike why Bajaj put Ninja, Pulsar 220 and 220 under Probiking crew. bikes features open Special lubricants etc which proper knowledge and maintenance.

The ‘o’ type chain of pulsar is as sports chain which little more maintenance. I use to and lubricate it every 100 kms with SAE 90 to avoid rusting, long proper performance and less drive. Spray is bit expensive so required got treat it from Service center.

This bike requires 4T oil. I use Valvoline 4T Premium and it perfect for my bike. Other like Bajaj Dtsi Sprinta 2000 are also good for Pulsar 220.

4T 20w50 oils may not very available. Never put 20w50 car oil in it .

Air needs to be cleaned every 500 kms for performance and fuel efficiency.

use premium petrol like speed etc for this bike to engine knocking.

However I like bike very much but I there should be some like,

Overall quality is good not excellent.

Rear produce ‘thuddd…’ noise hit pot holes with speeds.

mirrors are very pathetic, one has to arms inwards to see behind. they vibrate a lot after of 70 km/h so, show blur view.

Rear brake paddle is uncomfortable and can be improved. Comes in after long press and feel.

Little more seat space.

This is performance bike. a true ‘ for money’ and a safe Deal.
