One of my earliest memories is my pop shouting on, Jes over the potato-potato-potato of his chopped Pan as he gave my first H-D ride. older I remembered pictures of classic bike. It was bright with at least a 16-over end (sixteen feet that

One of the old skool choppers that we guys respect so much days.

This was taken 27 or 28 when my Frame came in.

early memory was my father me, If you want to ride a chopper, you to build it yourself to understand it’s all about. So from a age I dreamed of building and riding my own chop like my father’s. 20 years later I have my goal, and I have to admit the has been as fun as actually riding my bike.

My 100 cubic inch Motor came in today. Woo I was so excited to get my motor! It’s time now.

Coming up I have heard superstitions about bikes. One comes to mind is that you paint your bike It’s supposed to be bad luck or Another is that your has to have her own name.

So, I named my Saoirse Bhinn, which from the Irish Gaelic for Sweet Freedom.

This was 28 April, 2003 when my metal, tank fenders, etc. came in via UPS dude.

In to fund this build, I had to my Citrus Belle bike. I her from a CCI Hard Core Kit the past year and was pretty sad to see her go. It was not having a bike to wrench on I was waiting on my new build.

From of 2002, it took 12 weeks for to start rolling in from Engineering in Liberty South The 10-up five-out Gettin’ frame was the first to arrive in 2003. Shortly after, the metal came in.

It was like Christmas!

Every few a new box of parts was ready to be cracked Once the 100 ci RevTech motor, 6 speed transmission and BDL 3-inch belt primary came in, I mocking it up. Before long, she was for paint.

Here is a shot of my new controls. Pretty sick Still waiting on hand but they look the same as the controls.

The House of Kolor Pearl base was done by Auto Body in Merced, CA. The of Kolor Candy apple red were created by Rico’s Pin and Graphics, also in Merced. used my flame and clover as a base for his artwork.

His talent and are evident in the pin striping over the and at the base of the stretched King tank.

Here’s Spunky and Skyler. We are all sheets to the wind, talkin’ about my new bike build, and what not.

While the metal was dressed, I sent the basic flame/clover design with my seat pan to Gasoline in New York City. Paul Cox his magic and turned a simple of leather into an instant heirloom. A photo of the seat is featured on his section of Indian web site.

This is just a of the misc. parts that started to roll in. Still like when I got all my parts for the Belle. Man, I had parts all the place.

This doesn’t like anything. Sure no end yet and brakes etc. but most of the are here. Still need the drive too.

Avon 250 rear tire. As put the dollar on it to give you an idea how wide the is. Sick huh. the dollar is 6 inches wide so you should see I mean!

This wrapped around a billiet smoothy rear rim is to look sick as hell!

The bars, Six Gun Risers and Grips from the man, Billy of Choppers Inc. in Melbourne I added these pieces to the assembly while the local shop, Road Dog Cycles in CA, mounted my Avon rubber.

Man this is going to look when Mr. Rich’s is all finished. I I could have been a of it, but I’d only slow down! I cannot wait to see the on her!

My first ride place June 30th, without the seat. It wasn’t from New York, yet, so I a red shirt around an old sheet and it to my frame. At every stop and corner someone gave me a or a wave.

I was on cloud nine. After 20 of day dreaming and six months of waiting on paint and everything else, I rode my orange chopper. sure my Pops was looking from that big cantina in the smacking his bros backs sayin’, That’s my boy!.

is Rico, the graphics painter, and my fender. Next time I see the it will be flamed out!

19 Apr 03, I got a look at the sheet metal also. When the paint is on and is finished you will never this had that big ol’ in it to stretch it. looks like it was from a million dollar but it was not. Now that’s somebody

Jesse Kilgore —

Here is a job that is really close to the job I am shooting for. I want to lap the flames with a drop on them and then add a four clover with flames at the of the tank in white or the same as the yellowish pin around the flames. not long now folks!

If you want to a similar Redneck Engineering check Jesse’s web site. over a 100 shots of the bike together with captions. We the cream of the crop.
