BMW R 1150 Enduro

In 2000, at age 46 I a BMW Motorrad dealership in Apeldoorn, As off-road riding and rally-sport had been my passion, I soon up with the idea to build my own planning to ride the Transdanubia in 2001. Unfortunately this did not take place, so we focussed on the Turia Rally in 2002, Spain.

Inspired by the success of the R 900 RR Dakar boxer, I wanted to these amateur rallies on a myself too. Unfortunately a R 900 RR was not for sale, so I started to think building one myself. Of course at time I was not aware of BMW planning to the HP2 Enduro!
