BMW R75/6 By Maria Riding

The passion and obsession with the strapped on two wheels is eternal for motorcycle riders. There is quite like the feeling you get a motorcycle, you feel rejuvenated and

Today’s feature build BMW PANZER by Maria Riding captures the desire to own a machine resembles a riders characteristics and This project started out as a request for a seat for a BMW R75/6. it turned into a complete and ambitious custom project.

According to Maria Riding “Our client already had an and a few other parts rebuilt, but the concept of the bike was still We decided to accept the challenge, and it all over.”

Though Maria Company has had great success building custom motorcycles on Yamaha, Ducati, Kawasaki and The PANZER was their first BMW project. In the beginning Maria Company was a bit skeptic due to the bike a few technical limitations.

“Based on the our idea for this build was it be smaller and lower than the We also wanted the wheels to more present in the overall of the bike. To accomplish this we had to the dimension of the tires and install new rims, which can fit the Firestone AMS

We had to push all the rims of the back to the left, because this has a transmission shaft and the new large was not able to fit.

The sub-frame of the BMW was completely rebuilt and welded a larger tube diameter, to strength, and to give the frame a uniform and robust look. All were modified and shortened, we wanted the bike to be not as tall as the We put a pair of Bitubo´s on the back were really shrunken!

Since we had changed the suspensions, the horizontal structure of the bike was too including the fuel tank. allowed the bike to be in a more position on the overall bike

In this build there many small details we loved. For example the original air box was changed to fit the battery. We had to close the air entrances with welded plates, then we had to blast to remove any marks and to keep with the original look.

this we solved two problems, one was to the battery, and the other was to fill the gap on the of the engine.

All the electrics on this BMW R75/6 were simplified. We put the on the key switch, and the controls are the simplest we could find. It also has a speedometer and tachometer.

The overall look of the bike very simple and clean. It was to design a mix of classic with more aggressive. The red of the frame was but with the overall black and we thought the final result out really great.

People who our work are aware we love to risks with different approaches.

The name is Panzer. A German that is classic and robust and is not going to be indifferent to anyone!”
