I bought the GSPD 17,000 miles on it and it now shows miles on the odometer. I have treated it like my airplanes and never skimped on maintenance. It has no history. The only thing the needs is a new latch for the right luggage box. As I am sure you know, there were 3 known to be potential problems the older GS’s; the drive the circlip in the transmission and a very stock, alternator.

I replaced the old alternator with a new system with lots of the drive shaft was inspected summer and found to be in excellent and the serial number of my PD puts it of those that were to have the missing circlip.
