1997 Buell S1 Lightning with Nallin Stage 3 Kit 1997 Buell S1 Lightning with Nallin Stage 3 Kit. Over $4000 invested into the engine alone. Engine was built by the previous owner, a certified professional technician with experience in building Buell engines.

All engine components used were suggested by Brian Nallin.

Engine Components and additions:

– Screaming Eagle .536 cams

– Jims hydro solid tappets

– Crane cams adjustable pushrods

– Banke frame brace

– Buell Pro Series Ignition module

– Silver Powder coated wheels to matched to bodywork

– Buell axle covers

– Buell Pegasus timing cover (original comes with the bike)

– HD Headset bolt cover

– M2 Cyclone Handlebars (Stock S1 bars come with bike)

– H4 Xenon Bulb (Blue/Silver output)

– All factory recalls performed.

– Buell Pro Series Seatu

– Aluminum Oil Cooler that slips over Oil Filter

. Documentation and Maintenance History

The bike comes with a binder of receipts, a Buell S1 service manual, service manual supplement, parts catalog, online Buell S1 Service manual CD, carbon fiber rear fender, stock pulley cover, stock timing cover..

Mileage is currently 18,700. Engine build was performed at

11,000 miles. (2000 average miles per year)

The bike runs VERY strong, shifts smooth and is in excellent condition. Adult owned, never raced or abused. The bike has been meticulously maintained with all major services performed.

Bike needs nothing and is ready to ride.

– Recent (18k) Mobil 1 Engine and Trans fluids change. Front and rear brake fluid change.

– Front fork oil changed at 10k miles.

– Steering bearing lubed at 10k miles.

– Mobil1 Synthetic V-Twin 20-50 Oil used after engine break in.

– Mobil 1 Synthetic in transmission.

– Dunlop 207 Tires and brake pads have around 2400 miles still have plenty of life

– Bike is signed by Erik Buell on the tail section and clear coat was painted over the signature.

Minor Issues:

A few of the teeth on the drive belt have small notches on the outer side from rubbing against the bolt that holds the lower belt guard which has been removed. The belt has been fine for around 3,000 miles.

– There are a few small cracks in the clear coat of the gas tank where it mounts. The Buell logos are the external new style decals which can be removed to re-clear the tank if desired.

This bike would be a great addition to any Harley or Buell owner’s collection. The S1 is becoming a collectable bike. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a true American Classic Hot Rod Sport bike.
