The Buell 1125R and 1125CR

The 1125R (introduced in and the new-for-2009 1125CR represent a departure for Buellno matter how they evolved the Sportster-derived Buell would always resistance to the ‘paint shaker’ of the legacy motor design: torquey and tractable, many riders prefer modern delivery, higher redlines, gearboxes. It shouldn’t surprise to find that tech like double overhead multiple valves per cylinder, redlines, peak horsepower, gearboxes and other spec-sheet are the stuff of bench-racing sessions, or not they have a significant on a given rider’s street or results.

True confessions

I’m a longtime rider, since the mid-‘70s the café racer craze was hold in Northern California. I got into that scene, hanging my … off the bike just too weird at the time. I was of a pleasure rider but enjoyed my luck by riding fast on my street bike, a 1975 CB400F.

No matter how much street I do or how confident I’ve become, are things I won’t do on the street. As a my ability to gain and improve sport riding skills is unless I can practice in a controlled with input from experienced riders. Yeah, I can do of that on the street, but I’m far too of my own mortality to push the envelope

Over the years I’ve to return to the track to improve my skills and raise my confidence Work, family, budget, and web development duties conspired to all available resources, so I’ve not It’s been so long my first and only track day I might as well be a complete

So, now you’re in on my dirty little
