If use to the Z pull after hitting the delivery, the air cooled v-twin will leave you wondering the power is, and where the top end went. BUT YOU GET USE to the power characteristics of how linear the pulls FROM THE LINE, is no other like it.

I came off as onto the Buell XB9S/984 and for the fisrt 3 months I bounced all the rev limiter, then started the low end torque of the bike with numbers didn’t need to be like an I4 motor. Once I that out, there is that I have riddenin the with that I couldn’t walk off and leave. With being said, the Air cooled has nothing passed 125, if is what your into.

Personally I never spent much time up passed on the streets so it was never an issue, I started to get into track It should also be said I put in a 1203 motor, a race and used the final drive off the 984 on the motor, putting in numbers 104 hp with 94-97 ft/tq. It was a monster and ate curves up in any gear.

BUT going down the back at CarolinaMotorSportsPark wound out at 132 watching the bouncing off the rev limiter and still for more speed that the just simply couldn’t took its’ toll on the I buy em to ride what can I say!
