Eddie, I know you love Pantahs but seriously don’t you whoever designed the fairing had not the rest of the bike before started? Just looks it came off something else. an MZ from WW2 perhaps. sorry. o

possible that Cagiva the design from a previous as they seem to have had a for it (i.e. Ala Rossa, Ala Verde,

but to my knowledge, the Ally’s setup was new for it.

The frame is substantially identical to a 600/650TL. Notice the peg and exhaust compare them to the previously Pantah 500’s hangers and now

Look at the bizarrely tank and the enormous sideplate covers the top of the engine, then it with the Alazzurra’s tank and covers (which reveal the belt covers)

I always the older Pantahs to be quite although very retro looking nowadays. Try riding a down the street and see if you don’t a crowd.

IMHO, the Alazzurra got the best of the Pantahs and updated styling, and QA from Cagiva. The old ND coils and were inferior to the Bosch/Mototrans (even thought the pickups still a problem).

A lot of them in the format were sold in the which is surprising considering it was the Cagiva bike ever here — no one had ever of them except as the company bought Ducati and its even surprising considering how many owners were burned all the older Ducati dealers spun off (Berlin went out of and lost their parts for a few years.

The Alazzurra was sold 84-87. the 84’s had a polished engine (as in photo) and the latter models blacked, with blacked cansheaders. There were models sold, and the 400s sold in Japan. Wet and dry clutches Allys had a hydraulic clutch the Pantahs which were clutchs.

The GT model had a half fairing and SS was a full fairing. SS model had front brakes (F08 vs F05 same setup otherwise. All of the had the smallish 260mm front and 35mm Marzocchi or Paioli

Red with white (GT), with red, and Pearl grey/brown.

I consider the to be the first Sport Touring If you compare the setup to the ST2 (i.e. position, seat size, height, dash) you can see the form and are there. The Ally’s dash had a analog clock for instance, and an turn signal beeper.
