2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R- Kawasaki ZX10R Riding Impression- Cycle World

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R – Riding Impression Riding the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R at Road Atlanta. A great deal has changed in the 20 years since my motojournalism career was launched, quite literally, following a 160-mph highside crash at Road Atlanta during a WERA Formula USA national. Back in the day, a competitive rider held his breath and the throttle pinned in top gear while plunging through the deep ravine near the end of the long back straight—a ...

The Other Touring Heavyweight, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager Motorcycle Long haul almost doesn’t do it justice. The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager is one lounge chair of a motorcycle, so comfortable; you’d almost want to park it in your den to watch the game on. The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager features a host of touring goodies, a walk-in closet’s worth of storage, and is priced so low you’ll be tempted to think you just swindled the dealership. The flagship touring motorcycle in Kawasaki’s lineup, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager is essentially the next step up from the Nomad 1700. It provides a more spacious, comfortable passenger seat, trunk, and fairing, ...

Kawasaki Versys Motorbikes

The Kawasaki Versys is the replacement for the Kawasaki KLE 500. The 649cc parallel twin engine is taken from the new ER-6n with adjustments made to provide more torque at lower rpms. I have a 2007 Kawasaki Versys and have the very same annoying vibration noise in the front at about 3,000 rpm. What makes me mad is the buzzing coming from the cheap plastic around the dash. Great bike to ride but the vibrating noise is unbearable. I have a 2008 Kawasaki Versys and have the very same annoying vibration noise in the front at about 3,000 rpm. What really makes me unhappy with Kawasaki (that is the dealers I’ve talked to) is the fact that everyone seems to know about this problem except them. ...

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-9R — The Full Wiki

Contents Introduction The ZX-9R debuted in 1994. Kawasaki developed the model in response to Honda’s introduction of the CBR900RR FireBlade for the 1992 model year. Prior to the advent of the FireBlade, large-capacity Japanese sports motorcycles had become polarised. On one side were the 750 cc sport bikes, influenced by Endurance racing and the World Superbike Championship. On the other, the big-bore 1000cc-plus sports-tourers had become the natural evolution of the performance bikes of the preceding 20 years. In simple terms, the 750’s had the handling, the big-bores had the power. In both categories, Kawasaki ruled. The ZXR750 offered the technology and the performance of ...

A reunion of the development team includes (left to right): Bryon Farnsworth, Sadaichi Saito, Sam Tanegashima, Yukio Otsuki, Yoji Hamawaki, and Alan Maseki. Yoji Hamawaki leans across the table at a posh eatery near the current headquarters of Kawasaki Motors Corp. and says, “You know that we called the Z1 project ‘New York Steak,’ but do you know why?” The former Kawasaki Motors president doesn’t wait for a response. “We knew that in America the best meal on the menu was ...

2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R First Ride Review- Kawasaki ZX-14R Photos

2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R – First Ride Let the Good Times wheelie! Ah, the fresh air of unapologetic performance! Kawasaki began the press introduction for the 2012 ZX-14R with a rock-and-roll soundtrack accompanying a video of Rickey Gadson lighting up the rear tire and playing chicken with a Suzuki Hayabusa on a deserted road. The Hayabusa pulled over and let the ZX-14R pass. The next morning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, we watched Gadson reel off an effortless 9.64-second, 149-mph dragstrip pass on a stock ZX-14R—standard ride height, 42 pounds of air in the rear Metzeler, pump gas in the tank. My first experience on Kawasaki’s new flagship sportbike was a second-gear roll-on that ended ...

Destino Custom Garage, Custom motorcycles and parts — Zero Engineering Samurai

To give you some background on where Zero Engineering originated, here is an exerpt from a letter by Shinya Kimura; In the year of 1992, I opened ZERO engineering in Okazaki City, Aichi, Japan. . In ZERO engineering, I only work on Harley-Davidson’s given that the structure combined with the choice of materials create trust in its durability besides good looks. I also like the fact that a great number of the replacement parts for Harley’s are available in the market. As for the name, Zero engineering, I chose the word zero. Whereas it can literally mean nothing, I believe the word holds an endless possibility to it. It is, indeed, meant to remind me not to conform to the paradigm ...
