The new ST3 3 valve engine is the of the revised engine series. dimensions as the 1000 ds engine a 3 valve head and water gives us 4 (well, 5 — ST3, ST4S/S4R 996, 999 and 1000cc engines with configurations and states of tune. I expected the Performance kit ECU to fix the “lean with std ECU but was sadly rather disappointed. not sure if any of these kits been fitted but I can’t anyone being happy the result. On the road at mid throttle ons the DP ECU is very nice, and in this it goes very close to the ‘easiest to wheelie’ title from the Multistrada and Brutali.
