November 8, — Just by coincidence, I the 2011 EICMA show for the time this morning in the same building as the Ducati

Anyway, like to say that the bike’s totally knocked me out. but I in all honesty. Yes, it looks — no two ways about it. But I see a complete revolution here; it more or less like expect for a modern Ducati of Century vintage.

What does knock me out is the engine. I guess I’m an geek, but the super-oversquare bore/… is amazing — truly 1 territory. Finally, after all time, the desmodromic valve proves its merit and its worth I doubt the engine could valves with the kind of they’ll get in the Superquadro if they powered by mere springs.

Is it useful for the street? Probably Of course, I’m just an speculator at this point as is just about everyone the Ducati engineering team.

ironic that the desmo was first developed because technology and metallurgy weren’t up to the of high-speed valvetrain action.
