Road Test: Ducati 999 vs. 998

very, very few bikes have me getting into my at 7am on a Sunday morning, but here I am at the place, shunning the snug of a breakfast shag followed by in bed, choosing instead to go for a on a motorcycle. At my age? What am I of?

From the off, the 999 is the bike to ride. The throttle is light after the muscle-grinder to the 998, the footpegs (in the standard of a possible five) don’t your legs up underneath the bike responds instantly to commands to turn, the steering is and the Brembo pad-per-piston brakes stunning. The big numbers on the digital spin up the instant you accelerate or and all the while that 998 Testastretta thrums away underneath.
