2007 Harley Davidson FLSTSC – Custom – #x0024;14000 (santa cruz)

Up for sale is my 2007 Heritage Softail Springer Classic (FLSTSC) straight bobber.

18k miles For those who haven’t memorized each model, this is the 96ci (1584cc) big twin with 6 speed transmission with belt drive. I am the second owner of this fine machine and I purchased it from the former service manager of SJHD who did most of the customization.  I always said that I’d never sell this bike as I love it so much but my riding needs have changed and it’s not fair for this bike to sit.

I’ve sold off all the other bikes that don’t fit my needs and am keeping my Electra Glide and my R1200GS only.   I have a video of the bike I did a couple months back of me walking around and firing her up, if you’re interested send me an email or text and I’ll share the link.

Extras include:

Vance Hines Roland Sands Design (RSD) Tracker 2 into 1 Exhaust

Roland Sands (RSD) 12 Vintage Ape Hanger bars

RSD Venturi Air Cleaner Speed 5

Contrast Cut

RSD Timing/Cam Cover

Chrome

LePera Barebones solo seat

PM Performance Machine grips with brand new renthal rubber

Black powder coated wire wheels

RSD brake and clutch levers

Sportster Headlamp relocated low

Rear fender professionally chopped and painted

Chrome Bobber style custom tail lamp with license plate bracket

Lowered slightly in rear

Custom mini-bullet LED turn signals

Floating rotor disc brakes

Pirelli tires (new rubber up front, rear has plenty)

Rear pegs removed, and fender strut shortened so this is a solo rider.

She runs like a beast and has never given me a single problem. Has a great sound with the 2 into 1 exhaust. A really unique straight-bobber style Harley that gets tons of attention despite its somewhat understated style. It’s never been tipped over or punished.

I’m a 45 year old rider who’s been doing this since I was 17 years of age. When I purchased this bike from the original owner, (service manager), I tallied up his custom parts and labor in order to properly insure the bike and came up with around $4,500 in extras/labor. I typed up some of the parts above to give you an idea of what’s been put into it. All service and tire replacement has been done at the dealership in San Jose or by Joe’s crew at Cycle Imagery of Santa Cruz.

This bike was originally purchased at Santa Cruz Harley when the service manager ran that shop. I also have the original front and rear fenders although the wheels and tire sizes do not match stock so they no longer fit but you’re more than welcome to take them along if the asking price is met. I also have the stock seat and bars.

The only issues with this bike is a slight spotting on the ceramic exhaust, a speckling from the metal underneath, I was quoted approximately $200 to re-ceramic the pipe but I don’t think it’s necessary, maybe down the road.  Tires are in great shape, registration current and title is in my name and in my possession.  There are no surprises with this bike other than it’s flippin’ beautiful and a pleasure to own and ride.

Spring is just around the corner and whomever is riding this bike will be one grinning mother pupper.

The usual sensible Craigslist rules apply here. No joyrides, no test rides without the asking price in cash in my hand, you break it, you buy it. I will not ship this bike anywhere and will only deal with people in person. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email, text or phone call.

If you want to make a deal, we will transfer title and cash in a public place, bank preferably. I’ve done business on CL for years and do my best to represent myself honestly and with integrity and hope you do the same. Any updates or mistakes I will re-post below should I find any.

I’d consider a trade for a ’50s or ’60’s era vehicle, specifically Chevrolet Apache, C10 or even a proper El Camino similar value Not everyone is ready to plop down $15k all at once so there’s always the possibility of trading toys..I’m not looking for project cars, something finished  or damn near would be acceptable.  Shoot me what you have, I can only politely say no thank you if I’m not interested.  I can add cash to the deal if the vehicle is worthy.

Price is negotiable but let’s try it in person.

Keywords: Springer Softail soft tail bobber Harley Davidson, El Camino, GMC, C10, Apache. If someone has a trade, I’m looking for a straight across trade of equal value, if it’s close one of use could put cash on top if need be. Cash is king and spring is around the corner.
