Offered is a VERY RARE Early 1977 HARLEY-DA VIDSON CAFE RACER, in EXCELLENT. ORIGINAL RUNNING condition! made by Harley/AMF for two years in there are not many of these around, and even fewer ONLY 3077 original . Matching frame engine 7F00336H7, this is a two-owner and is in EXCELLENT condition mechanically, it does have some cosmetic issues as a result of term storage.

Original bought it in Florida in 1978, to California shortly thereafter Easy Rider-inspired visions of the coast on Highway 1 with the wind in his hair, but plans awry when he met a girl, got new wife not into motorcycles, so the shed went the bike, it stayed for the next 30-odd until I found it 5+ years At that time it had 2300 on the odometer and was still wearing the factory Goodyear Eagle A/T

I put on a set of new Avon Super Venoms, the oil, installed fresh fortunately the previous owner the gas when the bike went storage so no issues with 30 year old gas in the tank and carb, a new battery, put some fresh gas in the and she fired right up! Overall I rate the mechanical condition of bike on the order of 8.5 or 9 out of 10 — the 3K are legit, that is all the mileage bike has done, not really of an exaggeration to say it is just barely in!

Everything works, engine no unusual noises, carburates from idle all the way up the rev range, like a freight train, transmission and brakes are all good, all the work, even the 4 warning on the dashboard, both gauges in great working condition. And I add that this bike is WAY fun to handles better than any I have ever ridden maybe that is not saying but still. ) on the still-new Avons, a kick to roll on the throttle at in 4th and let the torque do it’s thing, is more than respectable for a that is over 35 years

Cosmetically it is not perfect, primary due to been stored in a tin shed for all years — there are surface rust spots there on the frame swingarm, corrosion spots on the alloy sliders and other aluminum the black paint on the cylinder and heads is faded and worn, and are a few nicks and scratches in the paintwork. major, and as you can see in the photos below it is a GORGEOUS motorcycle!
