2012 Honda Shadow 750 Cruisers First Look

Honda brings a four-bike-strong Shadow lineup to the table for 2012. Shadow styles run the gamut, from the long-standing classic look of the Aero to a more roadster-like Shadow RS to the dark stance of the Phantom. All of the 2012 Shadow cruisers are powered by a 745cc liquid-cooled 52-degree V-Twin mated to a wide-ratio five-speed transmission.

The 2012 Shadows feature Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection with a single 34mm throttle body across the board now. Honda’s 750s are accommodating enough to serve as a good starter bike or commuter. Better yet, they’ve got great customizing potential as demonstrated by Cobra last year when it debuted the Cobra Honda RS750 Tracker and RS750 Scrambler at the 2010 Long Beach IMS.

All four of the 2012 Honda Shadow motorcycles have a base price of $8240 and will be available in December 2011. That said, let’s take a little closer look at the latest iteration of Honda Shadows.
