people have asked me to my two favorite motorcycles, the Honda and Honda PC800 (Pacific I purchased my 1997 PC800 in 1998 when it was still new from Jaff Motors, a New State Honda dealer. I the 2002 Honda ST1100ABS new in July 2002.

I like motorcycles so much I would to keep both of them. of what is written below is an from e-mails written to the chat group on Yahoo ( ) during the first 4 months I purchased the ST1100.

Better is NOT the right word to use when the ST1100 and PC800 for me personally. I was to Gregory’s strong affection for the in spite of his former BMW K1200LT’s luxury and exceptional performance

When I purchased the ST1100 in 2002 I had fully expected it cause a major mind for me in my attitude towards my 4 year old PC800. After my first of daily riding on the ST1100 I a point of riding the PC800 and the back to back to see what I felt. I was very pleasantly to see that my positive feelings and about the PC800’s great and handling had not really changed at

This was what went my mind as I rode the PC800 for an immediately after a one hour on the ST1100 and on many more rides this summer. the opposite, I have grown to the PC800 even more. Not to say I the ST any less either.

I am addicted to of them!!

I took the ST1100 on Tim Finger Lakes, NY tour in 2002 because it was still new to me and a good highway ride. I every minute of the trip during the Saturday ride all the other PC800s when I I had my PC800 which is MUCH for the group rides. Group tend to be much slower and a top heavy bike is not as much fun as the lower center of gravity and low speed handling.

I did enjoy the ST1100 very on the way home on the Interstates in New York and on the 4 lanes in Canada. It wants to at very high speeds. Not for tickets I expect to find out

I took my PC800 on the Chrisoffer fall colors memorial in Massachusetts in September 2002 and to realize even more how the PC800 is, especially when I had to Francois and Tim Davies down the at obscene speeds. I did 1200+ that weekend without a problem except for 4 hours of in the rain following my buddy home who doesn’t seem to notice major downpours it out.

I think he has a little Sunshine around his bike that he share as we zip down the highway. would not have been the to have a bike that is prone. The PC800 never a beat and I just had to concentrate on the problems, NOT bike problems.

are both really beautiful both aesthetically and handling-wise, and fairly different purposes, I happen to REALLY appreciate! I the PC800 is going to be a long classic that is going to taking on some real collector’s value as we get further from the final 1998 models. This will be due to VERY unique looks and (e.g.

The storage trunk) and the incredible and durability.

The PC800 is fun, and super reliable for me with modest maintenance costs. The is exciting, fast and a real rush when you hit the throttle, around fast cars. I like the ST’s linked, ABS and traction control a LOT. but I miss it on my PC800 either, so go

Honda PC 800

Even though the 2 bikes are in size and weight, the PC800 like a feather when I get on it the ST1100, MUCH less top and the 1 lower seat makes it like I am a foot closer to the psychologically. We had some very competitive games at my Ottawa gathering in August, 2002. Two made the PC800 seem far one where we rode with a who dropped a ball in a sloped and then we had to pick it up at the other

The 2nd game was the slow race my driveway. I had tried both in with the ST and the PC. The ST had no chance against the PC in slow speed maneuvering

I have not yet fully decided I want to sell my PC800 and probably cry IF and when I do.

I have both great bikes all in 2002 and they both two very unique needs for me motorcycling. I have also thrilled over the 4 years of the PC800 with the quality of the I have made through the ownership and the list. great circle of friends was unexpected when I bought it new in 1998 and has been TRULY one of the benefits of PC800 ownership!!

If life was only made up of boring, unemotional issues and I would keep the PC800 and the ST, but then IF I really did things way I wouldn’t have any motorcycle. stay at home and look the property! I need a lawnmower for one of them :-) . NOT.
