Tested for stability at an indicated speed of 135mph! Corbin’s extremely popular line of saddlebags are now available for the VTX’s little brother. Beetle Bags are sculpted specially to fit close to the bike for improved weight handling and to be aerodynamically silent. The flowing shape provides a bit of vintage Hot Rod styling to the bike and integrates the rear end into a more precise design.

Both bags feature top loading so that contents can’t spill out when opened and they will self close in the wind if forgotten. Designed by the same folks that ran Hayabusa saddlebags over 180mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats!

Corbin Beetle Bags mold around the passenger’s legs to maximize capacity without creating an overbearing look on your sleek machine. We mold the interior wall close to the profile of the bike to keep them narrow and carry the shape around the rear fender. This also carries the weight of the bags and contents closer to the centerline of the bike for good center of gravity.

When loaded properly, you won’t even know they’re back there while riding and the bike remains stable at all speeds.

Notice how the Corbin mounting system keeps the Beetle Bags close to the bike. We supply a rear fender that provides mounting points for the bags and a longer, more vintage look on the bike. Again, this allows the bags to carry weight in tight where it won’t upset your balance. This mounting system and design also keeps a narrower profile for best possible aerodynamics and less width to worry about when lane splitting.

Although you can’t see them in this image, the bike is using a set of pipes from Cobra. Due to the design of the Corbin Beetle Bags, they will not install with the stock exhaust system on the bike. Many aftermarket systems will work fine as long as they run roughly three inches BELOW the passenger footpegs and have a smaller muffler circumferance.

Both bags come completely lined to protect your cargo and feature locking doors for security. Sure seal weather stripping and adjustable lock mechanism keeps them watertight. Our top loading design assures that contents won’t spill out when the bag is opened while the forward hinge action allows the bag to self-close if forgotten.

Corbin’s Beetle Bags come pre-painted to coordinate with your factory paint job.

When loading items inside the bags, it is best to load heavy items closest to the bike for proper load bearing and balance. Also, because of the beautiful painted finish, it is important to load items like disk locks carefully. If you throw an item like this into one of the bags, it can create pressure cracks in the paint on the outside of the bag.

Just place items in carefully and, when possible, pack around them to stop items from jumping around if you run onto some rough roads.

Manufactured of our durable Fibertech material, Beetle Bags come as a complete set with all installation brackets and rear fender included. Our rear fender is specially designed to work with our Beetle Bags, but can also be used independantly for a more vintage look at the rear of the bike. Corbin’s fender flows off the back of the bike providing a nostalgic look. Mounts directly to your stock chassis without modifications.

Requires the use of turn signals available from your local Harley-Davidson dealer (see below). License plate frame (not included) is a fairly generic model that we bent by hand to fit the curve of the fender.
