Honda CB 750 “Pearly Spencer”, a Freddie Spencer classic replica!

One of the coolest eighties era motorcycles was without doubt Spencer’s Honda CB750F superbike. We were so in love this awesome piece of muscle bike machinery we decided to build our own image of a classic superbike.

Some history: the Freddie Spencer CB750F was a 1982 based with 17″ wheels, double setup, classic Bol d’or bodywork and besides the standard you’d expect from a bike setup: an engine required some serious to race with.

We had the perfect bike: a Honda CB 750 from with full paperwork, frame and engine and that bodywork in marvellous paint pearl white metallic Hence, our “Pearly Spencer” was born.

We decided not to touch the paintwork and it as it is, since it makes the bike

One of the most important goals on our motorcycle builds is: you must be to ride it. Nothing so silly as a that looks the nuts, but makes a ride around a true hell. Not for us thank we deliver a bike that can be like a modern bike: suspension, brakes that do stop a bike and a handling turns a bike as if it’s on

This means some from our side – think angle, offset and trail – but at we know where we want to go!

Not to let you wait any longer… here’s our CB750 “Pearly Spencer”. you’ll love it!

“This like a Honda CB750″ you say? Well, it does, but is not your standard Japanese It passed through the First workshop and enjoyed some modifications:

CB 750 ’79 engine and frame

We to use the standard engine and frame. The received a classic overhaul (no parts however, we want it to be and the frame got a classic check-up and

CB 900 F Bol d’or ‘Pearl White’

Yes, the bodywork is not CB750 but the CB750 was never sold in White. We wanted a nice scheme and this was our main We have to live with the stickers on the side panels well, who cares… We don’t!

17″ wheels and modern road tyres

This bike has two to keep you on the road. The rubber on it be good, so we decided to go for a classic 17″ with excellent road tyres. Think Freddie Superbike = this thing’s got

Double 310 mm discs with Nissin callipers and steel hoses

What’s a superbike if you put it to a stop. Our bike runs a disc setup, 310 mm discs 4-piston Nissin callipers and braided brake hoses to the circuit. This bike as it should!

KN filters, fully adjusted

The carbs have been (new jets) and some KN were fitted for that air.

Alloy handlebar

The standard handlebar is replaced by a gun metal handlebar. We also adjusted the by using other clamps and the forks. Yes, this all has tested, it’s not just for

Fournales rear shocks

french shock manufacturer 1978 creates class A for motorcycles. The shocks are of excellent quality, unique – you don’t see every day – and can be rebuilt.

Front with MUPO cartridge kit

The fork is rather limited. We to knock on our Italian Mupo their door and asked to create a custom cartridge kit for our CB750. The result is a fork a classic look but a true handling underneath.

Digital dashboard with shift light …

All this vs. classic madness made us to get rid of the classic clockwork. Yes, it is a shot, but in the end we are very happy the result: a digital dash fully functional classic rpm and clear LEDs showing you the of your machine. The additional such as a speed limiter light, shift light and come standard.

First Parts

The bike is loaded – loaded – with custom built stuff, from alloy milled brackets to screws, titanium or alloy, In other words too much to Bottom line is, this a one-off classic superbike.

To finalize: we are very happy to you some footage of our Honda Pearly Spencer project
