Honda CBF Stunner Refresh and Ownership Report by Pranav

Hi, I am Kelkar, from Thane. I own the New Honda CBF Stunner . and I am fully with it and this is my first bike review. After our KB100 stopped roaring it used to do early, there was a decision made in my family. dad agreed to buy me a new bike!

And most I was going to enter the biking with that new bike. I was a in biking about 3 months ago or so. I Bajaj Pulsar 150 and wasn’t with it at first hand

Then my Dad came up with a “No 150cc above engines” I convincing him but resulted in no use. after that I agreed to term, looking at economical of the stipulation one must look at Efficiency also if you have ‘Dear’ as pillion. Being a blood, I hesitated on sporty and performance.

Finally we decided on segment but with a rule to Fuel economy near to a but now my task was choosing a bike comes near 150cc in and Sporty looks.

The options I had were:

Yamaha Gladiator

XCD125 XCD135

Hero Honda Glamour and

After Long research, I Gladiator, Shine and Stunner buying, considering both my and my needs. I personally prefer and Yamaha over other considering the Brand, Quality of and almost zero maintenance. I personally visited showrooms of and Yamaha.

I was in love with the beauty of CBF Stunner’. Then something me, why would I choose shine if I similar 125cc engine, awesome looks and add-ons? So, my dad a test drive of CBF Stunner, and was comfortable with it (it was an old model but loved it.)

Decision As the competition was really tough, both the stunner and Gladiator had own pro’s and con’s. We finally CBF Stunner over the Gladiator for plus points which also be discussed in the review. all I had to choose a 125cc which close to 150cc in performance, and sexier than regular bikes!

Finally I booked CBF Stunner, and paid 2k more on the what I’d booked it for. But it a wrong decision for sure. I got the new Honda CBF Stunner which is the bike delivered in the state.

CBF Stunner Specifications:

Tachometer: Finally something was only owned by Premium in the past!

New Engine cowl: element of Attraction.

New Graphics: me keep drooling over my

Half Chain cover: Trend amongst the Young

Sporty RVM’s: Haven’t such amazing RVM’s date.

Black Engine That’s what I was looking in for old

Bar End weights: less Vibrations.

No Lever: Again borrowed the premium segment.

Maintenance Battery: No more electrolyte up or leakages in the battery.

Viscous Air Less maintenance

I was very happy and satisfied with the I got at the price of 59k OTR. I chose the 125cc in almost every I have completed 1000 kms date, and I think I am the first reviewer of New Stunner!

Here is I feel about my machine date.

Styling: The best bike in its segment. Probably the looking bike in Indian Though reviews are personal and Yamaha R15. Hero Karizma and few high budget are better though, but what you want in 60k? While I encounter lot of questions from people asking; “Is this a new

From where did you modify Stunner? And what’s the cost? 80k? And more questions. The is a pure reason for a Head

I have seen very few new on road; it feels so unique to a machine which most of the doesn’t own one now. Overall theme attracted me the most with the new Engine Cowl is a add-on. Overall Styling is the key of CBF Stunner.

A must have for college hunk!

Handling: bike having separate from dashboard in its segment. As I was much in a need of a easy to bike and as Honda’s CBF Stunner 125 has it ability by winning the ‘Best For New Riders award (14th Cycle News (MCN) It’s truly an easy to machine as both my dad and I found it much comfortable. Separate makes it easy to ride in the can turn the bike with the force because there is no weight of the dash board and clinging on to the handle bar.

posture is sporty with rear set foot pegs but after continuous long the bike feels relatively I have done a 150kms with pillion; it was a comfortable and ride. Bike feels planted while cornering.

shocks are fit for their work and do job pretty well. Fuel is well constructed for knee with which long are much more comfortable but 125cc, bike isn’t powerful, but is best in its class.

Performance: Highest bhp Churner bikes available in market, in its CBF Stunner roars 11BHP @ with an acceleration of 0-60kmph in 5.2 Gears shift are smooth and exactly the same Roar I was out for.

On the other side, the is not that smoother on high but for 125cc, its best one can get and I have to touch 105kmph.But being a new I’m not putting all that pressure as I it has to still run-in. Braking is and works like charm. feature is the Tubeless Tires made my Dad say yes to this beauty.

tank capacity is 10 liters 2 liters of reserve. CBF Stunner has 5 which is rare in 125cc except the new platina. If you are at high you’ll surely think having a 6th gear, but it’s than having just 4 As bike has a heavy-duty maintenance battery, absence of a standard lever shouldn’t make you and neither did I. I start my bike choke at morning, and it comes to at first crank!

Newly Tachometer helps in maintaining rpm getting utmost performance out of the at the right rpm. Tachometer is wanted feature in old stunner, and just got it at right time Stunner is basically categorized as a bike, but I see nothing wrong it as a performance bike in its category. The comes close to gladiator in

But 5 gears, tubeless tires, free battery surely Stunner worth buying.

My CBF Stunner has served me with 60kmpl during city and very much satisfying of on highways. As I always try to maintain when I’m low on fuel, I save 20% by this method. Overall though not best in its category, but is if you consider Stunner’s power and

Few More Things about the

CBF Stunner has got an all Analogue dashboard, so if you are a Speedo-fan, it’s a big disappointment for you

I’m quite ok with the conventional dashboard is all new due to new addition of Tachometer and enough at night.

Beneath the seat, a small compartment is by a lock, which opens the all-in-one key plus the compartment has a space to accommodate, say a wallet a mobile which I’ve it. Additionally the compartment also has space for tool-kit and first aid kit by Honda.

Beneath the split there is also a helmet One doesn’t need to pay extra for a lock.

Choke lever has a position.

Trip meter helps in mileage with which I was much impressed.

Rider’s just looks high, due to pillion seat, but actually is than Unicorn, and it ensures position, which is not at all stressful.

My CBF Stunner is a perfect blend of Performance Economy. Though the costliest in its category by few thousands, but is a buy because of its key features. Honda has a brilliant job by introducing this model in India.

Finally if you are for a bike that has awesome and great Fuel Efficiency (in looking bikes) and great (in 125cc category) then one is for you, But be aware that is not powerful enough for … power craver’s. If you are on a budget Rs.60k, and want a truly looking high performance in 125cc category. New Honda CBF is a must buy as I enjoy the quality!
