Obviously improved from the previous version, to finish in the top places in competitions and to make sure that true fans of the Wing House, remain satisfied with this bike, which since 1992 has done away entertained generations of people.

CHANGE IN THE MANNER (AESTHETICS)…

Honda CBR1000RR change significantly in the forms, thanks to great work done by designers, who have completely redesigned the windshield and the headlights, which now end pointed upward and are joined to the aggressive air intakes.

The hull is made up of layers, in order to ensure optimal aerodynamics of the vehicle, which now cause more turbulence on the rider’s legs and allows better engine cooling.

Finally, one of the best aesthetic of most importance is the tail, which now has a more aggressive and far more aerodynamic.

The instrumentation was renewed and revised: it is now completely digital (LCD), to provide the most useful information to the pilot (5-LED shift indicator, digital tachometer with 4 customizable viewing modes, value added and of course service lights, consumption …).

BUT NOT IN SUBSTANCE (ENGINE)

The Honda engine has not been installed updates from the previous version, thus confirming the line 4-cylinder 999.8 cc that develops 178cv to 12,000 rev / min and a maximum torque of 112 Nm at 8000 rpm / min.

The concentration of Honda engineers focused on the injection-mail, type PGM-DSFI (Programmed Dual Sequential Fuel Injection).

In fact, improved and renewed the setting of maps, hours in fact every time you gas, the bike responds much more homogeneous, resulting in much smoother at low revs.

The chassis remains the same, of course, aluminum, always the same even as we can imagine that the brakes are among the options the possibility of adding the C-ABS and now this version has undergone major changes, because the level of intervention on the axis front in the first phase of the rear brake is less aggressive.

What changes is the suspension and wheels. Up front the new CBR has a 43mm fork type griffata Showa BPF (Big Piston forks).

The GMP is a system designed to increase the feeling with the front end, thanks to increased use of oil volume damping.

At the rear, but remains true to its Honda Pro-Link linkage, but it changes the shock.

The rear shock it has a technology called “Free Balance Rear Cushion”, a system that damping Sharpening and accessibility in the Regulations.

Now in fact, compression and rebound are positioned on the left and therefore are much more accessible to the adjustment with the screwdriver.

The wheels, as mentioned before, changes are now 12-spoke cast aluminum, a material that offers greater rigidity and therefore allows to work in an absolutely better suspension.
