Honda DN-01 on sale in ?

Hello bikers,

I live on and I am in love with the Honda riding a Silverwing600 ( with

The DN01 has automatic. that´s I need again.

Where can I buy it?

In the price is €12.000. in Japan €8.000 which would up a good portion of the Thai duty.



Reason I bought the bike: it is there.

Ok. Seriously. the reasons are:-

1) It has a low height. I’m only and getting shorter thanks to

2) I prefer shaft final clean and almost maintainence actually lazy to lube and chains.

3) It’s fully with tiptronic style shift, impossible to stall the less things to coordinate in a tight situation. actually of stalling the engine while tight u-turns. (I have an situation last time, but another story. )

4) Styling, ok is subjective and is a matter of taste. at it looks different from bikes.

First riding impressions:

1100 rpm, when cold. Moving off pressing the ‘D’ button on the handlebar, just like in an car. And this is what I about this bike. is no gearbox ‘clunk’ when you first gear as in a normal This will greatly the driveline, IMO.

The bike can be ridden off without warmup since throttle when cold is very no hesitation or flat spots.

The is very easy to operate. easier to drive than an car in terms of it’s transmission. twist the throttle and go.

If you are travelling at a low speed, the transmission will select the highest ‘gear’ or ratio numerically that the particular engine rpm.

like in some car with transmission, there is a ‘S’ button if brisk acceleration is It just simply allows the to rev higher for any particular ‘gear’ And if you want to change the ‘gears’ just select ‘manual’.

There is a + and — button on the handlebar to shift up or down There are 6 preset ‘gear’ There is also safety to prevent the selection of inapropriate for e.g. at too low a speed you will not be to select 5th or 6th ‘gear’ to prevent the engine.

And similarly, at too high a you will not be able to select 1st or 2nd the speed reduces to a level will not over rev the engine. One thing about this + and selection is, you can do rapid engine without much jerking if rpm and speed mismatch.
