What do you think about this video?

jdm2killer: Great Video! I’m trying to decide what kind of bike to get. I looked at getting a Harley Sportster, but they lack room for bigger framed people.

I think the shadow phantom will be the way to go.

Otavio bitencourt patricio: that’s cool. i’m seeing one motorcycle custom to buy for me, where do you live? is UK or USA, here in Brazil the honda launched one shadow like your, but not the black spirit, but already give to trip.

Marcelo Borin: I just about to get one in Vienna – Austria. I aways been fan of shadow, and the black spirit looks fantastic. Thanks for posting it

Bob C: Nice one, can almost feel the wind in my face.

oppossumhead: I pick up the US (Honda Shadow Phantom) version on Monday.

vfr800vt: Thanks 🙂 I hope you soon get your bike sorted and back out on the road in time for summer. The band is Priestess, track, Performance.

20stevieray: whats the song? ans do u think the shadow has enough power? or do u think it should have more kick?

matthew fouse: hey dude, your all on the wrong side of the road!

vfr800vt: @20stevieray Hi, It’s Performace by Priestess. I guess it depends on your riding style. Personally, I think it needs more power. Overtakes are slow so you have to plan well ahead and make sure you have plenty of room to complete the move.

But if you’re happy to sit in traffic and never overtake, then it’s fine. The other problem is the pegs grounding out too easily, especially on round-abouts

tasatasat: I am looking for an entry level bike. I used to ride dirt bikes around 18 years ago and had a 1989 Yamaha FZ600R about 12 years ago. Haven’t ridden anything since. I am 68in and 155 lbs.

Do you think this bike would suit my size and would the performance of the bike be enough for taking it on long rides in the hills or mountains? If not, for the price what do you think the best would be? Thank you.

vfr800vt: @tasatasat This is a dead easy bike to ride. It’s very low to the ground so no problems with your height with this. Your weight will be fine too. If you want to cruise all day, you may want to consider a screen for a bit of protection from the wind and elements. For a first bike back in the saddle after years off and you fancy the cruiser style of riding then you can’t go far wrong with this bike.

After a few months though, I reckon you may be wanting more power.

tasatasat: @vfr800vt Thank you for the reply. I went and checked this bike out yesterday, I like it a lot, looks really nice and pretty comfortable. It will take a little getting use to with the seat and peg position, but other than that, should be fine when I end up getting one.

I agree with your power statement, but I think that’s with anything.

ChromeAngel1000: i am sick with jealousy, as my bike is in bits and not hada ride out yet. good vid, what band is backin ya?

vfr800vt: @otaviobitencourt Hi. I’m in the UK. It’s a nice easy bike to ride.

DYAC: My friend’s business did extremely well with adwords. He basically pay google to put his promotion ads on varies websites and the conversion rate is really high. I guess it helps since he sells gag/prank gifts and his ads get display on funny autocorrect websites.

He wouldn’t tell me the exact amount, but I’m estimating it is near the mid 6-figure salary. No risk no rewards I guess.
