What do you think about this video?

Ali Babai: Very helpful. I have a vtx 1800 I hope the process is the same as 1300

Titaniumdrill: none

Jonathan Parra: Check out his new video on a in-depth tutorial to change the oil

fight4liberty: this video makes me feel drunk.

grigoron: It could be better to show us your tools in action

Pye Khine: I just got a 1300c and about to do an oil change this weekend. Can I do it without raising the rear wheel?

Carlos Parra: crud, oil filet, goodness. oil FILTER!

Carlos Parra: Hi there Pye, you’ll have lots of fun with the 1300, it’s a great bike! You definitely need to raise the rear wheel so you can have enough space to put the oil pan under it to catch the old oil, otherwise the oil pan would not fit. Also it helps you to get under the bike a little to see better and get a better grasp when you loosen the bolts and the oil filter.

Pye Khine: Thanks. I’m changing out the oil this weekend with mobil 1 4T.

Unne Cosa: Carlos, I have your exact bike. I wanted to ask you about some accessories you have. I like them for my bike. Can you tell me the Exaust Pipes, Saddle Bags and Back Rest.

What brand are they. Thanks for the video.

Ratchet Ron: I thought you said no need to mount bike on crazy concoction. What was that concoction you used? Crazy or not? Ride free!

Carlos Parra: Hello, yes the engine is water cooled but that’s different from the oil. The oil is for the moving parts inside the engine. The long molecules of oil work their way between the metal parts so that moving metal parts never really touch each other. But those long chains don’t last forever. Heat and the motion of the engine break down the long chains into shorter chains and those chains are broken down even more.

Old oil causes more wear inside your engine.

GETREAL!: You should change your that crap oil to Shell Rotella T6, you will be happier

Carlos Parra: Hi there. The Exhaust pipes are Cobra pipes. The backrest and seat are mustang. I don’t have those saddle bags anymore. I replaced them for hard plastic ones.

You can check my other video Mutazu hard saddlebags if you want to see them.

Anthony Rivera: good video, i have the same bike

Carlos Parra: LOL, a little crazy I guess but didn’t pay a penny for it 😉

Carlos Parra: Hi grigoron, there’s really nothing to it. The claw looking thing goes around the oil filter and you use it just like a pair of pliers, that’s all. the 17mm is to unscrew the screws that let the old oil out. That’s about it.

If you look on the bottom of your motorcycle you’ll easily see the oil filet and the screws you need to loosen up.

lakecrab: What’s oil for..I thought the engine was water cooled? I thought all the oils were permanent. I have 50,000 miles on my bike and I just top off.

EMT: Thanks! They sometimes skip corners and take the easy way. If they ever did that, I suggest you consult with a paralegal or lawyer. This way they won’t be able to cheat you.
