1995 3rd Generation Magna

A lady that I work was going through a horrendous and needed cash Fast . She an old beat up 1995 Honda that she wanted to sell for at $3,700.00, and she begged me to come to her home to look at it.

The poor was a train wreck! It had rotted bags on it, (I opened up the bags to inside and was looking at the exhaust the bottom of the bags had rotted through!) . and it had a rotted-out saddle a huge rip torn across the of the seat.

Even though the was manufactured by Honda, it had a rotted tool bag drooping from the tree, some rotted old raw-hide tassels hanging each grip lever and the bike was covered with and mildew. It had been sitting in her yard behind a fence for an year exposed to the rain, dust, spiders and every thing this North area can offer to a vehicle is abandoned.

She must have seen my when I looked at it, for she quickly “It runs great!”

I did. and I there was a cloud of mold and blowing off the bike behind me the cloud that follows the old Brown character around but the ran like a Swiss watch and it had . Power with a capital ! When I got back to her house she what I thought, and quickly (because I knew she was desperate for and would never except a small amount), I said wouldn’t give a dime three grand for it.” I have never believed she would sell the bike for than $3,500.00, but she said . and I was stuck with a second that I didn’t want, need, and really couldn’t


I’m glad I handed her a for the three grand, for over the I’ve restored that to its original beauty and it is truly and strong! It “red-lines” at almost RPM and with a little bit of tweaking and new exhausts and four jetted it now has 100 horse power coming off the wheel. It handles like a in the hills with the fast and curves and it tracks like on a rail.

Even when I by a semi trailer on the highway she straight and true with a wobble or blip in the control. Not only did I wash and wax it, but I’ve every speck of chrome on it and totally restored it. When was just the way I wanted. when I had it to I felt it was My Bike. I put a custom job on it; bright metal-flake orange yellow flames.

Now it’s a shining jewel. a speck of rust or corrosion on it in the sun like a glorious diamond. ironic now to think when I it I didn’t even want the It’s by far and beyond the best and the powerful bike I have owned or ridden in my life.
