Review: Honda Dream

It’s been ages I slung my leg over a commuter a segment I always steered from as I thought them to be boring and slow. I got off the motorcycle minutes later with a opinion on the segment and pleasantly with the Dream Yuga.

Was down to my changing perceptions or was it all to Honda’s latest commuter?

The we have for the first ride is the top with electric start and wheels and it fits the bill of a Understated and confirmative come to as I try to describe it.

Honda’s entry-level Dream motorbike is pleasantly surprising, Alan D’Cruz after his ride.

The bike will be in five colours brown, grey, black and the colour we have for testing — The instruments are laid out well in a twin pod layout with and odometer on the left and fuel with the tell-tale lights on the

This is more or the standard level of equipment in the I wish Honda had given it equipment in my heart of hearts, but I that this is the pragmatic way to this bike.

The switch gear is on the left bar and is similar to those on the CBR150R, to use with the only difference the two being the addition of a pass on the Dream Yuga. On the right resides just the electric button.

The engine has quite a bit of pep its 110cc engine and is the same that we loved from the CB but it has been tuned for 8.6PS still among the higher in the segment — and for more

The gearing is quite low and in traffic on the way to I sometimes found myself along in second gear in to bumper traffic. On any other I would probably have in first. This low gearing is a in traffic and pulling away the lights is a breeze.

I even had the end get slightly light in one spirited from the lights, when I the clutch a little too much. The does get into fourth very quickly and you are in top gear you cross 40kmph. This me looking for fifth and I think the could easily take the cog.

It would certainly help in the mileage figures with claiming that the bike deliver 72kmpl.

The riding is neutral with your not too far forward and the reach to the handle seems just right. The quality is good over roads. The steering is light and the flicks easily through

The suspension is neither too firm nor too but the seat is another matter. It too soft and after riding a of 30 kilometres I had a case of numb A firmer seat might made the ride more

Another complaint I have the Dream Yuga is the brakes, are dull and the drum brake up means that stopping only the front brake is not an Even at speeds below both brakes are needed to you to a stop before you dent a car

The Dream Yuga is available in variants with the spoke version priced at Rs 48,028, wheeled for Rs 49,592 and Rs 51,678 for the wheels and electric start, all being ex-Mumbai.

Delivery of the will start in July and anticipates that it would approximately a month to clear the bookings before delivery become streamlined.
