Your Opinion Counts!

The way it was done. Simplicity is the key to efficiency. 3 CB Points firing up 6 cylinders. 7 speed gearbox. gear driven cam shafts. 4 valves with massive valve lifts. High doom pistons. Best was the robust crank design. and the firing order. to have the least flex. Beyond watch making and Jewelry. Thank Q. This One A 3/4 hr was well spent and learnt a lot how things were done. and can be done.

We did many similar things which has brought me to the point of insanity today. seeing the fuck-all complex machines they make today which are assisted electronically by preset programs. and never can be repaired. What a mess we have made to achieve what we have.

Max.output 60bhp / Max.speed. 240 km/hImpossible !

Thanks to gema i couldn’t warch in germany

Absolutely awesome, its crying out for subtitles, it would have been a privilege to have been there. Why not build your own? My RC181 Tribute Bike, turn up the sound. Honda RC181 tribute bike

Wish theres english subtitle.

This is amazing! CBXers would go crazy over this if it was voiced-over (much better than subtitles) but probably not feasible at this point. It is interesting to see how much of the CBX is derived from this design. Almost like a seminar on 6’s.

wawwwwwww.

PLEASE someone subtitle or dub this in English.

I dont understand a single word but when I heard this bike run I knew we were speaking the same language.

what’s the name of the show?

This is my kind of video YouTube. Thanks

Good idea to see if Honda would be interested in getting it subtitled. I understand that one of the people sitting at the tables is Teruhisa Murayama (Teri san). He owns the ’68 ex-Mike Hailwood RC174 (297cc six) and speaks English. I don’t suppose there would be any interest from him to do it, but it wouldn’t be bad from a PR point of view for Honda!

You will hear Sato san referred to in the vid. He is (or was) the Director of the Honda museum at Motegi.

I am an Indian from India. But live in Germany as a student..take huge interest in motorcycles and to some extent in cars, outboard motors, snowmobiles, jetskis, personal watercrafts and ATVs. and of course Light Sport Aircrafts like CubCrafters Piper Supercub. I alaways collect documentaries and scholarly articles about motorcycles and motorcycle engineering.

Have you seen the National Geographic Megafactories episode about the Ducati Multistrada 1200? I once had a 100cc Honda Supercub

Awesome video, thanks! You have any other motorcycle documentaries like this.

Many Thanks for this superb video. I’ve nevers seen before a TV show where the star is a bike. But what a bike. Jean
