Re-listed here no bids. The bike is in California.  It be worth asking the guys at Aermacchi Sprints (http://www.aermacchisprint.com/) for information about the bike — in Tampico, IL.

1968 Aermacchi 250 Ala Verde (HD Sprint) is located in Los Gatos and for on eBay.  There is no reserve and the bid price is 3700, which is a price for a brand-new, 2 mile (Owner states it has never registered).  If this can be verified, it be one heckuva deal.

Aermacchi was an aircraft house after World War II.  Arguably built some of the finest propeller driven aircraft of the but Italy never had the production to back it up.
