The 2012 Fischer MRX 650 is a high-performance, American-built, sport style motorcycle. The goal of the company was to create a sportbike that competed with those that were being created by the Japanese manufacturers, but had superior quality and handling, and was produced in the U.S. Each bike is hand built in the United States from a combination of both American and international parts and components.

Every 2012 Fischer MRX 650 is built to precise, high standards, but has the benefits of the cost and quality of using a mass production tool.

The designers at Fischer had the luxury of creating a completely brand new bike. The final result was a bike that takes some of the best design cues from other bikes on the road, including Honda and Triumph. The bodywork is angular and full of sharp lines, with lightning bolts of plastic shooting out from the headlight and tank.

When the Fischer MRX 650 was designed, the company wanted to create a bike that had the same exceptional handling as a superbike. Designed by Gemini Technologies, the 2012 Fischer MRX 650 has the only one-piece bike frame on a production bike. It was built with enough lateral flex to allow the bike to absorb bumps even when it is leaning at high angles when cornering.

It also features a one-piece swingarm, also designed by Gemini Technologies.

The engine found on the 2012 Fischer MRX 650 is a 650cc V-twin engine created by Hyosung. It is a 90-degree V-twin and uses twin, 39mm Mikuni carburetors instead of fuel injection. Lacking fuel injection can make the throttle feel a little slower, as well as when the bike is started. The engine produces 80 horsepower at 9550 rpm and is equipped with a functional ram air.

The stainless steel exhaust system is composed of dual chambers that assists with the throttle response, and provides a cleaner running engine, as well as a better sound.

The fuel cell found on the 2012 Fischer MRX 650 is made in the U.S. from crosslinked polyethylene. The capacity of the fuel tank has been increased for the 2012 model so that it now holds 4.6 gallons of fuel to allow for longer riding at higher speeds before needing to refuel. An optional transparent fuel cell can be fitted on the 2012 Fischer MRX 650.

The use of Ohlins single rear shock is fully adjustable, and coupled with the adjustable inverted forks used at the front provide the 2012 Fischer MRX 650 with excellent handling. Like a superbike, it is able to maneuver in tight corners, both at low and high speeds.

New For 2012

A one-piece swingarm and one-piece alloy frame are featured on the 2012 Fischer MRX 650, and the only ones found in the world.

The exhaust system of the 2012 Fischer MRX 650 has a functional Ram Air and is a dual-chamber, stainless steel exhaust that has reduced emissions, a deeper sound, and a better throttle response.

The new fuel cell is American made from crosslinked polyethylene and has an increased capacity of 4.6 gallons.
