Meet the Beta Alp 4.0, a motorcycle powered by a 349 cc, single-cylinder, air cooled, S.O.H.C. engine.

The is married to a six speed transmission wet, multi0disc clutch and with a fresh exhaust for 2013.

Other modifications for 2013 include new plastics a modern design, a more headlamp and two new paint-and-graphics schemes, White Pearl and Red.

The motorcycle is built on a solid chassis and features front forks with ø46 mm shaft and a monoshock with adjustable preload.

On the safety side of the 2013 Beta Alp 4.0 comes front and rear disk with a double-piston calipers.

The rides on 21 inch front and 18 rear rims that can be in both enduro tyres or tyres.

The Beta alp 4.0 is can be a decent daily commuter or off bike and is able to reward its with a pretty fun riding

Its 350 cc engine however is a bit old compared to units in its class. But despite its technology it is still one of the most units in its class and has all it needs to with anything you throw at it. It can be a bit above 60mph and its maximum won’t impress many riders either.

In terms of ride and handling, the Alp receives good marks, as its travel suspension and the high position give you confidence in the city and on the off road tracks.

The 2013 Beta Alp 4.0 costs £3400, which is a pretty price for what it has to offer.
