2009 season

Note: If you can German, read the German The English reports are often short summaries.

Technical on the bike: The clutch has been by a Suter slipper clutch of a 750. Forks rebuilt using stiffer springs and a progressive damper setup. The have been replaced and repaired and repainted (rear).

be using Dunlop tyres for all this year, to participate in the ranking of SPS-Race.

du Rhin, 14.3.2009, Dannhoff

Well I had to test the new clutch at point. So I joined for a day of free at the local track Anneau du (France) just about 100 away from my home.

forecast was good. That’s amazing because it is still (or let’s say very early here and last Tuesday it snowed! Friday afternoon I put the back together.

Because I had two hands and very little I put on the old crashed front fairing together by lots of duct

Saturday morning I left early, it’s about 1.5 to Anneau du Rhin. I missed the exit because there was so fog. Not a big problem, the next isn’t far. Just 8 am I arrived at the track and had to do the usual

10 sessions of 20 minutes scheduled, that’s a lot!!

In the first my plan was as usual after work to do one lap and then check for oil and leaks. But I had other sorts of My visor was completely blind two corners, that I missed the and had to turn another blind Fortunately the track didn’t much :-) Everything was fine the bike, so I left for another two then back in the pits to the visor and open all vents of the

It wasn’t very intelligent to use the visor.

So I could finally how the slipper clutch worked. In I was a bit desoriented when downshifting there was no feedback from the wheel nor from engine Click click click the gears and I had no idea which I had in. But in fact it doesn’t matter, the will just turn in

The rear wheel just the line. It’s great. And the clutch works MUCH than any other slipper I drove, you can barely remark

Did I mention they slightly the track? The very tight after the fast Flicflac is gone and the old corner is back except that it is 20m closer to and that the exit has finally made safe (no wall near typical highside I like it!

In the following turns I the revised front forks springs, more progressive setup). They work and don’t bottom out any more. I care about the very load change effects the engine regains RPM after the clutch did its job. For non-slipper drivers I have to explain With the slipper, the engine rpm stay low after breaking the gas suddenly.

It will stay low you open the gas again or the difference in and gearbox speed is low enough. it picks up again, revs suddenly and there is a slight change on the chain. I tightened the a bit and the effect was gone.

Later I about the exact air pressure of the front tyre. Last I used quite low pressures but now what Dunlop racing suggests. I needed some to get it fully on temperature, but when it was an the hot pressure was exactly right, it like a charm. The rear K2 slick didn’t like the low and began to tear off. Not towards the end of life.

I adjusted and rebound damping and it didn’t get But honestly the tyre was simply not much rubber left.

At I had a chat with some Swiss racers there.

the lunch break, I continued the old rear tyre and concentrated on style: Put as much weight as on the inner clipon and on the front and quick direction changes. The didn’t work well in the esses, I was simply exhausted! My were sore! But otherwise I regained feel and confidence for the end, thanks to the improved setup.

Driving went and I was gaining confidence on the brakes to the super smooth slipper It really works amazing.

For the two sessions I put on a new Metzeler K2 rear With the new tyre I could follow Ivo, a very racer from my neighborhood on an extremely quick Supersport CBR600RR. That was big fun, we have very similar

For the last session, I tried a start from the pitlane worked out quite OK. My pace the new rear tyre was really except for some rare nobody overtook me.

Conclusion: Suter Clutch conversion was well worth it. Thanks to motorsport for the perfect free day.

Rijeka, 7.-9.4.2009,

Here’s my report of the first of this years European TL

Monday, April 6th

About to drive by van from Switzerland Italy and Slovenia to Croatia. from my home over Venezia to Trieste is highway. I miss the exit and visit :-) From Trieste to the border of was a very bad, very road. The croatian border was the piece de resistance.

Croatia isn’t in the European and importing/exporting non registered vehicles is That’s obviously a problem for bikes. Fortunately I was informed that and took the number and registration papers of my other TL me :-) So no problems at the border. In Rijeka I another highway exit and the harbor 😮

At about 20:00 I was at the Autodromo Grobnik and installed the German friends. Perfect and still 20 C, great! Not good was my pollen allergy wasn’t at all — rather worse!!

April 7th

Very little to get the transponder, drivers briefing. well organized.

I have no of the track, except that it is clockwise. At 9 o clock I’m the pit lane with the red group. The is very flowing with elevation changes.

Braking is difficult, because the braking aren’t straight and bumpy / remarkable elevation changes. It some time to find a line. Harry, Peter, and the other instructors answer my And it takes again some to get on a good lap time.

At lunch, I only a 1:47.4 on my timesheet.

In the 30min sessions are scheduled. the track is physically very and I usually drive back to the after just 20 minutes. In the last lap, I clock my lap of 1:45.9 and beat Peter. The slipper clutch proved to be helpful on this track.

The zones are so difficult, it really that you can just bang 2 gears without caring about your clutch

Barbequeue in the evening, very

Wednesday, April 8th

Drivers for the sprint races in the morning. mode is a classic pitlane to lap, 1 warmup lap then start and 8 race laps.

The is till 12:00. At the 2nd session I my qualy time of 1:43.6 the used Metzeler Racetec K2 slick. Now because I want to in the Dunlop Cup, I have to a Dunlop rear tyre. So the rim with a brand new Dunlop GP slick in E compound is mounted.

I drive a 1:43.7 laptime this new tyre and I’m that it doesn’t feel different than the Metzeler.

The time is good enough for a row start in my class, 4th position. The of my class (750 I4 / 1000 V2) well. The start works out better than before, to the new clutch. In the first corner 5th, then overtake the first laps and am 3rd. Willy overtakes me with 998R power on the s/f straight and I quite catch him.

So I end up on the 4th after 8 laps. But the instructors count in the final results, so results to a 2nd place overall and 2nd in the TL ranking as well (Harry was My personal best lap is 1:41.5, improvement over qualy

And I receive a Dunlop Winners cap I’m 3rd in the Dunlop ranking.

2nd in the TL ranking isn’t bad, but one has to that there was another TLR that was faster than me but he compete in the races.

Thursday, 9th

Time to explain the track: You fly in 6th at about 280kph on the (lying) on the s/f straight and dive into a righthander into a falling, and very difficult braking Shift down from 6th to 4th then turn into the lefthander. A fast double corner follows where you hard in 4th gear, into the long left hander, a bit but still in 4th gear.

Then until the bump, DON’T (switch off brain) and fly into a corkscrew combination. The entry is the exit is falling very and bad tarmac. On every fast the rear slides sideways.

But back off and pull through the lefthander, then brake a for the next fast right/left at the bottom of the track. Accelerate hard and on a good lap take the combination over a crest throttle to the back straight. in 5th and 6th and brake at about 150m for the lefthander Zagreb.

Extremely braking zone, back two At the exit, accelerate first and then full throttle the following left/right combination, in 5th and immediately shorthshift into 6th cut the pitlane entry to avoid the bumps and accelrate full with shaking bars to the s/f

You have to drive this to believe how demanding it is. Always cool, ignore headshake and rear end slides and always that throttle under That is by far the best flowing I ever drove.

Today, the GP is scheduled. Thus 18 laps or 35 minutes without a rest! In the I improve my qualy time to that means 12th position, thus 3rd row on the right. My wasn’t bad, but I missed 3rd and lost a lot of places before the 1st But it came worse: When I the esses before the back with full tank, I screwed up the line, got onto the on the inside and had to open up and run off track at 160kph.

The TL shakes her head badly and wants to spit me In a fraction of a second I remember the course I took last open the throttle, the bars and I am able to drive back to The opponents behind were with stones, sorry for Next two or three corners because of the dusty tyres.

Then Harry on the TLR overtakes me and I try to him. Amazingly, my TLS is faster his tuned TLR on the s/f straight and I always get 10 to 20m But he is a late braker and I can’t overtake him. I follow him a shadow.

It gets interesting we were lapped at the same when we were lapping a of backmarkers. Somehow this out OK and I finished 2 seconds behind on the 15th position overall, 2nd in TL ranking. Personal best lap 1:41.7

Then one other session of free practice to down.

All the Germans left at the Me, two other Swiss and an Italian had the paddock for ourselves during the I left at 5 in the morning and was at home at 14:00

— well organized

— weather

— great but difficult track

— is OK, I didn’t crash

— I had problems with physics, due to the pollen allergy

Eurospeedway 11./12.5.09, SPS-Race

TL Cup 2009 two: Won but got beaten anyway

970km of highway in 8h thanks to no traffic on the German Basically I entered the highway, put in control at about 125kph and the highway 8h later (of course I had to for a refuel and a short break).

with the usual suspects in the of the Eurospeedway Lausitz. We had no pit, so I had a tent with me.

For the drivers briefing I was already in the Sky looked really dark, so I want to loose any time for the session. The TL had some starting due to old sparkplugs and bad Croatian fuel from the last round in but we managed to start it anyway and I the track at exactly 9 o clock.

end felt slightly off and after some laps it began to and I returned back to the pits. in the paddock I checked air pressures and out that the front tyre was about 1 bar of pressure, so it basically was a lot of pressure which explains it felt strange.

The rest of the is quickly explained: It rained and we not to drive. Despite having new Dunlop rain tyres on rims, I decided it was better not to because the track (which was an oval built for IndyCar) is slippery in the wet and the weather forecast for (raceday) was good. After final drive ratio to and adjusting the rebound damping on the forks, I had a sleep in the van.

and up because of a lot of noise. Heck driving again. It was now about and we were in the middle of the free session over lunch.

I for the next group session at 2 PM.

the track is quite different to the last round in Rijeka. more work on the brakes, I had to re-learn braking. The long sessions in the afternoon were for this. Harry, my biggest returned with a TL500R his first session. He had lost his cylinder (or at least the spark) on track.

Finally it was a torn off valve — bad luck for

In the 2nd afternoon session I got my time to last years PB of 1:56.8 Had a moment when I locked up the wheel at the braking point the start/finish straight. OK, I’m hard enough then. The practice in the evening was wet again.

a new Dunlop rear slick on the rim in the evening.

Tuesday 12.5.09

report: Blue sky and sunny. So get up, breakfast, into the leathers and out on The qualification was until 12:00, so three 20min sessions. In the 2nd I was already down to 1:55.8.

I to connect the tyre warmer for the new rear tyre for 3rd session, so I had to the qualification with the old Dunlop from the last round. I another 6 tenths, personal 1:55.209.

Finally this was enough for a front row start, 4th on the grid in the Pro SBK (750/V2) class.

lunch break, our race was for 2:30. Timing was very and after driving to the grid was the classic warmup lap and standing procedure. Willi (Duc aside me almost jump I got away well, but not so good as (GSX-R 750) behind me.

I was already behind her in free and couldn’t overtake because she a perfect line and has definitely power on the straights. In the 2nd lap I block her outside/inside in the very tight combination before the back Now I had to catch up with Willi.

I gained a little bit of ground, but at the I was missing 0.5 seconds. Harry first on his wife’s GSX-R so he beat me anyway! But my race too bad either, I improved my PB to 1:53.339 and won the TL very comfortably.

In the Dunlop I was 3rd overall.

Well, an important victory for the TL cup I improved my PB by a massive 3 seconds to last year, so I’m happy with the result.

Lausitz, 30.7.-1.8.09, SPS-Race

From May to end of July I didn’t one mile on track, nothing, But I was recharging my batteries in the Californian sun and been inspired by the Laguna GP. I lost two rounds because of my USA but luckily only missed the of the Oschersleben round because the round in Most (CZ) was due to very bad weather.

So basically my was some mountainbiking.

The bike an oil change, new plugs and some things like replacing the overflow bottle due to corrosion in the parts.

Thursday 30.7.09, a road journey

It started bad my van didn’t want to start. it was probably some air in the Diesel back from the inspection just before. Then the to the track are explained quickly: ONE BIG TRAFFIC JAM.

I needed than 12h to get to the Eurospeedway Lausitz this to 8h last time

Friday 31.7.09

Signed up, got my and picked up the ordered slicks.

we have an amazing 7x 45min That’s a whole lot of track The long turns would be for some setup work, but I have a working setup. So my job is to slowly get into it again the long break.

I drive an old rear slick until the when I mount the gold rim the as new Dunlop rear slick and drive some faster In the very last lap, I my personal best to a good That’s about seven faster than my biggest Harry briefly drove afternoon.

One has to say that despite the laptime, the Eurospeedway Lausitz is hard to drive with the old TL. It’s a modern stop and go and in fact you have no chance the 25+hp stronger 750 I4 and even against the big 1000 I4. None the I can make up almost everything on the and in the corners, but overtaking is a difficult

Beerbarbequeue as usual in the evening. Oh and late repairs on Franks TLR didn’t run a lap today (engine and problems).

Saturday 1.8.09 Swiss Independence Day

Qualyfication for the and sprint races lasts up to to and in the afternoon there is a 2.5h race.

For the sessions in the morning I the black rim with the old slick — I am slow waking up. But I suddenly catch an old friend on Stefan, last year an on the TL, now on a KTM 990 Super Duke.

I couldn’t overtaking him and decided to squeeze in the tightest of the tight chicanes to show the TL isn’t too old yet :-) The exit of the didn’t work too well I lost the rear, got very and almost highsided it, holy Of course he was through again, to pass him in the same lap again. should be bad enough for his motivation 😉

For the race, I mount the 3rd rear rim a brend new Pirelli Diablo SC2 slick. On the front, I decided to a used soft Dunlop slick, which wasn’t a good decision because it to tear up and had a little bit of chatter. But I it would last for 2.5h anyway.

For endurance, Peter the and me formed a TL1000S team. Our was quite simple: Each would drive 2 sessions of minutes. The target was to somehow Wolfgang and Harry.

I would and get an as big gap as possible and Peter would it in the end. Our pit sign was a Swiss flag (remember it’s Independence day). Our pit crew two guests from the German board: Mathias S and Ronny K, guys. Because they me out much longer in my 2nd turn (I was a 7s a lap faster than Peter), we indeed able to finish of Harry and Wolfgang, even if changed once less.

was a big and unattended success! Well and I have driven one lap more, was nothing left on my brake DOH!

Small party in the with some beers and stuff. And not to forget the small for Swiss Independence Day (even if I was the Swiss).

Sunday 2.8.09

schedule is just warmup in the and the sprint races in the afternoon. I put the medium Dunlop KR106 slick back and rolled with the torn up Pirelli to wake up. Then for the 2nd turn I mounted the magic 195/65 KR108 rear slick in compound. Oh and boy it felt good, a direct and good feedback, so the decision for the race was made quickly.

I’d give new tyre a try.

The sprint would be one lap to the starting grid, a lap and full 12 race laps! I was 3rd on the with two 750 I4 ahead me and Harry biggest TL opponent) just me in 5th position. My strategy was to keep behind me or if he overtakes me to stay him.

Well, that’s now it’s over 30 degrees and it will be a VERY hard Just ahead the race we had a problem in the paddock and thus my weren’t warmed up properly. shouldn’t be a big problem.

Pitlane opened at 12:48 for two minutes, drive to the starting A quick warmup lap to get some into the tyres. Standing My start is good, but I’m a bit too in the first corners and of course goes through on the inside of 2. I hang on and amazingly he screws it up on the after the back straight in lap 2, so through again and concentrate to the 750 I4.

When I miss a gear onto the back straight, I over my shoulder just to see the face of Harry. Phew, go. I put down some more laps, overtake the GSX-R 750 in 2nd (in the chicane again, but clean time) and try to catch first.

onto the front straight, I a slight error and in full angle at least the left touches down (ssssscccccrrrrrraaaaatch), so I to settle for my position which is to winning the TL ranking. So I did and got 2nd about 1 behind the winning GSX-R Harry was nowhere, he had some difficulties and couldn’t move on the bike.

Well, that was one weekend. Won the TL endurance and sprint improved my PB to 1:52.600, won the Dunlop and got 2nd in the 750/V2 class overall.

A big to our endurance pitcrew, to Bikeroffice and of to SPS Race for the perfect organization.

Now if I right, the standings in the TL cup are equal. won twice, I won twice and each of us got 2nd It’s getting interesting!

PS: inspecting the bike back I found that not only the touched down, but also the arm. No, I didn’t crash! say the rear tyre supports lean angle than the TL

Pannonia TL

Brno, 19./20.8.09, SPS-Race

Quite a long way the van from Switzerland to Brno 1000km), but thanks to the newly highway I was considerably faster last year. I have no finding the famous GP track in the near Brno (yes, the track where there was the last MotoGP!!). Setup in the with Daniel and his brother I knew Daniel from years TL cup, he’s fast on his TLR.

Andreas his Aprilia Mille.

The other TL namely Harry and Wolli, already Monday at Brno and the MotoGP tests. They impressed of the sound and the lean

Wednesday 19.8.

Todays is free practice in 20min in the morning and 30min session in the At the drivers briefing we are warned an oil spill at the lowest part of the and that we shouldn’t turn in on the far there.

I know the track from last year. challenging and with big elevation It makes our job not easier when engine blow up spills oil in the 1st corner, the following straight and the This also cancels our 2nd because the track has to be cleaned up oil binder. This makes the fast 1st corner extremely because at least in the morning you NOT supposed to cross the oil.

I it and the back wheel stepped so not good. Anyway, it takes me time to get on pace again at The track is really challanging.

In the 30min sessions in the afternoon I to find a good pace and my times considerably. At the end of the day my personal is a 2:19.4, already 6 tenths than last year.

On a the Dunlop KR106 6136 slick I’m using is the same as in last years race. Last year it was torn off after just 8 this year it works the whole day. I can only that the forks were in the triples after the crash year and that this all the front tyre problems.

On the the Dunlop GP Racer slick OK. The rear is a bit unstable when direction in the very fast A little bit more rebound helped.

Thursday 20.8.

is qualyfing until 12:00 and the races in the afternoon.

The first two in the morning I still use the old GP racer slick, but didn’t manage to my time (I’m also a starter in the morning!). For the very qualyfing session, I mount the Dunlop KR108 slick I used with success in the race. The tyre feels so more planted that I my time to 2:17.029. That was not the virtual pole in the TL ranking but the pole in the 750/V2 class,

One disadvantage of the huge 195/65 is that 16/39 gearing was now a tad too for the last and first corner, I should have tried but I decided not to do so.

Race of my class I4 / 1000 V2). Formation lap to the warmup lap, standing That was the theory! In reality the 1st was cancelled because someone

That means another lap and in effect one lap more. As always I in as little fuel as possible and now I sure if that would be Let’s hope so!

I started but not good enough because I was by a 750 I4 in the first corner. After the straight Angy (on another 750) passed me and Harry (my TL opponent) sneaked through in the as well. Oh well, I should drive more agressive in the lap. Harry overtook in the 2nd lap, but I couldn’t manage to him. The problem was that GSX-R 750 is considerably faster on and that I lost so much that I couldn’t outbrake

So I was stuck and saw Harry disappearing. The point where I saw a way to overtake was on the of the uphill 2nd last chicane, where that oil spill I tried to pass Angy about mid race, but it was too optimistic and I had to Doing so my front wheel up in full lean angle and the bottomed out very hard Phew, that was a very very hot moment.

So I had to catch up Two laps from the end, I passed Angy entering the righthander at the lowest part of the but at the exit I was in wrong gear so she back immediately. Last Angys rear tyre was and she struggled out of the corners. I had a look at the of the first corner, but I was still too

So I concentrated on that 2nd last and did my move again, this successully. Problem is that the stronger gixxer will back in the following uphill so I drove a rather tight towards the last chicane. tried to fight back, but I was a of a second later on the brakes. At the line I was on a very close, hard fought 3rd place and on 2nd in the TL ranking.

Best lap time almost 3.5 seconds faster last year!

to Harry, he was simply faster in the A big thank you to the organizer, SPS Race and for the perfect event. Brno is one of my favourite tracks, fast, and we had an excellent race again.

In the free practice session, and me drove some laps with the camera on his TLR. But I done yet for today. I loaded the and all the stuff in the Van and drove about 3

to a city in the northwest of Prag Most is the name!). Navigation was a bit due to small roads and lots of work. I arrived in the paddock late and had a look for my old friend

It wasn’t a problem to find but space around the organizers wasn’t available anymore. is in the organizers crew because he is others, so he had to be near their We also had no idea where our from Holland were.

So I decided to install me in the paddock at the end of the pitlane. I discussed a bit with from Spyder Motorsport who had a pit there. Finally we agreed I rent a spot for my TLS in his pit, the weather forecast for tomorrow so good.

Todays schedule is the track and. surprise. the 2 endurance race in the evening! and Jan from Holland show up in the and setup in the paddock around my

First session at 9:00. I had no idea how the track looks. it turned out to be clockwise and with the of the chicane after the start/finish a very fluent track lots of corner combinations and Track surface is very but also quite rough at places, thanks to Wolli who me from the last corner.

last corner is in fact a righthander with very surface at the entry and a very bump at the exit. The TL always a bit at that corner, not the best in full lean angle.

the sessions we mount my small pit to have some shadow. very hot already! The remaining is dedicated to practice, the track is difficult to drive fast and you no rest except for the 800m straight.

Suspension setup some clicks of adjustment. I a compromise between too soft for the corners and too hard for the bumpy corner.

In the afternoon, it unfortunately to rain. Because it is so hot, evaporates immediately. Anyway, I not to drive as long as the conditions are When it dries out again, I do one on slicks just to get a feeling.

working OK, no problem still grip.

For the endurance race, and me will form team The weather is still unclear, so we Gunnas TL1000S with wet and my TL on slicks. Just before the begins, it starts to pour

The organizer postphones the start by 15 to give everyone a chance to to wet tyres. Now our strategy is clear: will start on wet tyres and as long as possible. I will the remaining either on slicks or

Andre’s Girlfriend Marlene is our pit

During the Le Mans start, I Gunnas bike. After a long start procedure, off and I have a look on Gunnas lap After about 20 minutes, it to rain, but the track doesn’t When we approached 40mins, I to take a decision wheter to my bike to wet tyres or not.

Because the track is still wet, in special in the lower where there is standing I decide to switch to wet tyres This is quickly done, I them on a spare set of rims. ready to go just before the and only pace car phase, but isn’t done yet and continues to in the wet. Shortly after the race director tells at the Pit wall that we can’t use our old Swiss flag as a pit sign. In his the flag is too close to a red flag.

I Marlene she should try to acknowledge pit sign (raising his left when driving by) by waving their hands. But of course doesn’t recognize that we had agreed on the Swiss flag as a He drives by another three before he looks over the and sees me sitting ready on the When he comes in, there are 20 minutes left.

I leave the with brand new rain It’s really not easy to your pace on a wet track has an about 30cm wide dry line with still really wet spots on the lower of the track. I got something like a for the rear tyre, but the front was as always with rain

But overall, the Dunlop wet tyres MUCH better than years Pirelli, no headshake and I drove it home and was happy to see the without crashing. Note I don’t like driving in the

Our effort was good for 7th place of 18 teams. The Dutch Jan and Andre on the excellent 4th place.

Todays schedule is qualyfing 11:00 and then sprint in three classes. The TL fits in the 750 I4 / V2 class, so nothing new.

I the two qualyfing sessions with the old GP racer rear slick. finally shows me the right in the last corner: Brake and hard at 100m, release the just before the bumps. for the exit wait loooooong and turn in very late but drive just at the outside of last sharp bump, the bike up and accelerate early to the straight.

Personal best is around 1:51, good for first row.

For the session at I mount the little torn up but good Dunlop KR108 slick. The feeling is again better with this and I improve to 1:49.404. Unfortunately the tyre had to be changed after session, because it was missing marks on the right side.

I want to take unnecessary and mounted the black rim with a new Dunlop KR106 front I do some laps in the afternoon to the new front tyre.

Then pregrid in the pitlane for our race, one lap to the starting grid and then a lap. My start is excellent, first until about 3rd when the GSX-R 750 started 2nd me again. The first very chicane is always problematic on track (we had been warned in the briefing), so I didn’t outbrake him and settled for 2nd. In the first I had a lot of understeer, same thing in the Probably my tyres weren’t hot

That allowed the pole pass me. There was no way for me to follow two GSX-R 750, so I concentrated on my 3rd position. I was sure Jan would try to me on his 150hp Ducati. When I back over my right at about mid race, I saw nothing, but he was hiding in my left exhaust :-) (so he was!!) I tried to put down fast laps towards the end of the and always concentrated to get a good out of the last corner to the start/finish

I ended up on the 3rd place again.

in the pits, I remarked that the side of the rear tyre was chewed up. You could clearly see the compound! Well it didn’t bad, but it certainly looked bad

Gunna raced with his 1000 in the big class and ended up after a restart. To cool we drove some laps in the practice after the race.

Barbequeue in the evening with the friends.

Sunday 23.8.

schedule is just free and there are no transponders any more. So we to drive the morning and to leave lunch break. There was sort of a charity photo in the lunch break where we participated with bikes.

to the organizer, Spyder Motorsport, to and the Dutch for these fun days!

I loaded the bike and all the stuff in the van and drove home. I had a slight finding a fuel station the Czech border and Nurnberg in and almost ran out of Diesel. Apart that everything went and I was at home shortly after
