Italjet at EICMA

I’d been off on a “scathing” (ha) appraisal of until the EICMA show, to see if even had a booth there. to The Scooter Scoop, they do. As far as I can (Diamo’s site doesn’t any Italjet models, and doesn’t dealers, and ItaljetUSA’s site is short on info, and hasn’t since last winter), only model currently in the U.S. is the Torpedo, which is made in Asia, so if that on display in Milan is actually new the old one they dusted off for DealerExpo) and a production bike, it’ll be to see where it’s being and when it’s coming (Their booth is in the Asian if that’s any indication).

Our analyst Brooke suggested the whole Italjet/DiamoUSA deal was a to lure dealers to sell Diamo projects, and I was frankly to believe him, now the question is if is anything more than an in Italy buying trade space and licensing their (and their late-90s to Asia and India. Time tell.

The dragster in the fuzzy photo to be a 2 … 125/180 version. It not have the hoses associated the piaggio 200+ 4 … and does have the water cover that is indicative of the 2 Piaggio motor. It looks a similar strategy as the US show they just took an old in that case a pre 2003 powered 50cc version, and a decal badge.

I’m sure this isn’t a that the new incarnation will be a 2 but just evidence that don’t have any new product to I seem to recall the Diamo rep in claiming that the Rollercraft was hung up in customs. No sign of it yet

There has been a few sightings of dealers trying to move the new of the Italjet Torpedo on craigslist. appear to be CFMoto E-charm or models with slightly bodywork. So their progress in Italjet scooters to the market to currently consist of a mainland produced CF moto product has been brought in under incarnations by at least a half other importers at ‘bargain’

I’m not sure what is harder: of an old model or inovation. But there is no that either struggle is at with the current Italjet USA

Rakuchina, that Dragster at World looks like an Dragster with a Minarelli not a new Dragster with a Piaggio that Diamo’s Mathu described in January. In fact, looks like the same bike Diamo had at Dealer in February .

Yup, that’s as italian as you can find in a motor the end of the vespa smallframe. Pure (Then again, it could as well be a yamaha engine but the get blurred with that Alas that breed is Death as well.
