Test Ride: Brammo

This isn’t some posted from someplace This is a real hands on by a member. I am the fourth (non-Bremmo) to ride, and the apparent land record holder.

I heard Hell for Leather (the mag) that they going on sale this and that test rides being offered. I decided to it out. I’ve been in the electric bike movement, I used to do electric R/C car racing and pretty much the same

No deposit is required, just a valid moto license. have some gear but it’s limited in size at time. After about 10 min of paperwork the bike is all yours for 15

I left the Jansen Beach Buy and promptly did some circles in the lot. It handled quite and though there was a bit of lag in the power a standstill it comes on refreshingly from there on to it’s top From there I headed and hit the Delta Park / PIR exit to see how it corners at speed. It does.

From that point on a never left my face.

It did clover no problem. It feels a small Supermoto. Foot out is the way to go. I headed north for some twisty testing.

I took the street exit and took right there towards the Complex. Holy Cow does it like a champ!

I did some more parking lot and headed back south. I the 39th street clover to see how it handles with uphill It passed. (I even scraped the peg ). I promptly turned back cuse my 15 minutes was almost up.

As I down the on ramp I was behind a slow elderly couple. I was due to traffic to stay behind until I was fully on the freeway. I took my pass at them I followed the passing SUV and gunned the

I saw the speedo tap the 70mph mark for an and then drop back

Before I left on the test I asked what the top speed they said 65. I was doubtful I hit that since my 6’2 was quite the airdam. The Brammo guy was when he heard I hit 70mph. I now hold the land speed on that bike

Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed. If I had the to get one I would. It’s a freaking to ride and would work well as a commuter.

Did I mention it will put a permanent smile on face?

Like a bonehead I to get a picture of me on the test bike. I was so about the ride that I had a fart so the best I got was a seat on the one in the
