Naturally, the forums were with claims that the was just a repackaged emax  Not only the forums, but a few too…  Hell for Leather.  Well, I can’t really you the score back in 2009, but the dish from Vectrix LLC the 2011 VX-2:

“Regarding Vectrix has contracted VMoto to the VX-2 using Vectrix technology and components like the Vectrix Regenerative Throttle, Control Module (ICM), Management System (BMS), and Panels made by Vectrix and suppliers.”

So unless I’m mistaken, the is manufactured by VMoto to Vectrix using Vectrix technology- a simple case of repackaging…

The specs on the two, however, are much the same: top speed of same battery chemistry and same voltage, same hub motor, like that.

Is unusual?  Not in the least… take a good look at any manufacturer, and the byzantine manufacturing you see in, say Detroit, make this like a dime novel. it make sense?
