1999 Kawasaki Ninja

July 9, 2008

I recently 1999 Kawasaki Ninja . It was in pristine condition with aftermarket exhaust. I fell in with the bike the very moment I saw it.

It does not have the edges of a R1 or even the newer but there was something which me the bike was built for speed.

The end has huge air intake ducts on sides of the twin headlights. The position puts you in a very position especially this one the clip-ons set at the lowest position.

The rider can literally hide the fairing and giving the bike a streamline aerodynamics and low drag.

Now said about the looks and position, it was clear this was a bike. Not very surprising the 7r’s have a great record. The ZX-7R was very in motorcycle racing, with a of 9 AMA superbike championship victories, and an record in Kawasaki’s Road team with Eric riding .

It is a high rev engine not very easy to ride in The real power kicks in 7,000 RPM and twisting the throttle at point means that in its highest gear you will be back in the seat as it accelerates 100 mph with confidence.

Another thing about designed for racing: they are sensitive too. I did not have the air pressure the first few times I it – the guy (from whom I bought it) he had got everything checked the last and I was just too excited to ride to do a thorough check. So the bike was a lot after 110 mph (176 kmph).

But was enough power still at the wrists.

Handling: The bike great. It has a heavy front end so chances of a wheelie (I am not a stunter, so I do not the front wheel to pop involuntary). wide rear wheels found in 1000cc’s) the bike has a leaning ability. However, it is a bike which although stability in high speeds, low turns requires a little

However with enough on tap, you can pull out of a sharp even in the sixth gear. It not come with steering so there is a bit of a shake in the front end at speeds.

Performance: It is a high rev (top power at 11K RPM) and in traffic its hard on the clutch and the wrists. The clutch and the break come with 4 point and therefore its easy to set them for hand sizes.

After hitting the band, is no looking back. The bike goes. I have taken it speeds of 140 mph and still had a lot left. It cruises at 100 mph with low vibrations.

I am a bike with stock will have lower but with the Yosimura, the bike a little rough but the sound and the extra torque and power it worthwhile.

Large disc provide incredible stopping The front brakes are strong and linked braking system, the works like a dream. the riding position in such, one has to be for stopping too quickly because it hurt where it hurts
