Kawasaki Ninja 250r vs vs 650r?

okay. this is another ninja 250r vs vs 650r post. so sorry in

but i really want to know other people would in MY situation.

i’ve read quite a bit about each

her’es the stuff i consider/know

as power goes, so does cost(how much though?), but overall fun in the long term

never ridden a motorcycle but i’ve ridden atvs, go and a dirt bike.

if i’d to go on looks, the 250r is best, the 650r and then the 500r..

i’m about 5’8 but (i’m 16)

i kinda want to get a that will last a ( i don’t plan on selling/buying that could be a hassle)

i be riding mostly in town.

however, people talk the lighter bikes and how its ‘scary’ in or big semi trucks passing. and i’m a lighter guy, 130lbs) i would like a bit bike (although not sacrifice too much)

plus, living in it’s pretty dang like every day.

IS an issue though. however, the and 250r are about the same. the 650r being quite a bit

so the question is. which should i

what would you do?

its that guy he never rode a 250 it can definitley go past 65mph. gone on 100 mile trips on the 250 and ill go all day. Insurance WILL go up as the size goes up.

Considering 16, get a 250, i doubt your are willing to pay the insurance rates of a 500 or 650 you get liability which is not a good on a motorcycle unless you have health insurance.

ATVs, and go karts are useless when it to street riding. The difference traffic and how to handle it. I learned how to and brake and ride a motorcycle in 30 its not helpful on the streets.

The reason being that a bike is less forgiving to a new dumping the clutch on a 600 can be deadly, you can you can spin out of control or you can highside if you have a slipper clutch, if you go WOT you can get up 100 mph in a etc.

Don’t think of a motorcycle on how long you will it. Bikes are not the same as cars, you learn on a high performance easily. You will probably your first bike, a 650 because its heavier and higher off the Get a used 250 for like $2K, it for a few months, if you want to upgrade it for $2K and get a 650.

You might think it’s a but its less of a hassle than to the hospital or saving the money for a new When you upgrade you will the 250 even more because you **** up a 600 the minute you touch it. because the 250 will teach you how to PROPERLY, lean properly and how to in traffic.

Highways are also not Im about the same size as you and im on the everyday in los angeles I can get 80-90 mph and keep up with traffic, go than traffic, whatever. never had any problems with or anything like that. The wheels can cause some but again, this is not your bike, its your first.

Learn properly, don’t be a with center tires because you didn’t learn how to

Cost is easy — the 250 be cheaper EASILY. It gets the mpg, im getting over 60+ Insurance is reasonable for a new 17 year old (me) and it looks really

Maintence is simple and most of it you can I get compliments everywhere I go and im still the mothherfucker at my high school who got a haha. Good luck. Get gear and have fun.
