I have owned the for quite some time now and i it to be one of the best 400s around.It has handling and is very low so it is good for the of people it does lack though but is what you would from a little 400.

though it doent have of power it can still reach speeds. It has a limiter which i to remember reading somewhere it restricts it to 135mph. I bought second hand and it is not standard so it can over 140mph maybe faster.

I still think it is one of the 400s but the fzr400 seems a powerfull bike.

For looks i would say it is nice it has nice curves and you’ve got to the kawazaki green. My bike is green with a few white which are not as standard but do just it the edge.

I like the bike for the riding position it feels a race bike should it can be in to corners very fast and them with ease. The are not brilliant though, well the is ok but the back brake is a bit weak. It has disks up front with pot tokico calipers. The back is also tokico but it is weak the bleed nipple is situated.

I have had a couple brake on me and had to them. It is best to upgrade the and put braided hoses all round. I just replaced my back with another standard

I bought it from a shop on called A.M.S Motorsport is situated in Wales. This specialises in zxr 400’s. It only me Ј20 for the brake and Ј12 delivery charge is a bargain.

If you know what you are fitting the new brake isnt too My bike is also fitted a carbon micron exhaust is not road leagal but looks and like a real racer.

I only paid Ј600 for the which i belive to be a bargain. It is, as all bikes, best to shop a bit to get the best prices. These can be worth well over

My bike is on a k plate but has only about 20000 miles so be worried about buying a old bike, you can tell if they been looked after.The seems very reliable the problem i have had is the back which may have been of wear. I do buy most of my parts hand as they are expensive new but can be to find for the right price.

It is cheap to tax as it only has two wheels but can be pricey depending on your and where you keep the bike. All are rather nickable and should be fitted with an alarm/immobiliser. I had this problem as I have a bike lock and keep it in an garage when not in use. If worried you can buy all the usual security A good bike lock and a is all you really need.

Never fit the lock around the wheel to it moving. Lock it to something as are light and can be just thrown in the of a van.

Overall a very nice to ride on A roads but no good for miles the fuel consumption as all bikes is good when not hard .The downside is as a lot of bikes is that there is no guage which is always a if your like me you wont relying on the reserve.The zxr 400 is a great bike so dont let the few little bad put you off as this bike has been one of the fun to ride out of the many i have had compared to some 600s i owned.
