General Comments:

This is a bike for beginners and experienced

It is a very … looking sport bike. It’s got a retro look with gadgets on it.

The seating position is between a standard and a sports the pegs are swept back far, but the tank and bars are for an upright position. Not the most bike, for long trips I a windshield and use a tank bag for me to lie on. The seat is not bad, it’s wide but the is lacking a bit. Can be removed the key also for locking helmets or the bike, which is nice.

The bike also very so short riders can ride bike fairly well.

The bike has adequate power for around town and freeway It will ride at 60-75 MPH all day It’s enough power a beginner won’t get too intimidated, and has power for experienced riders to fun with.

Mine came with the rear rack, which is handy to have. I’ve a lot of things on my bike. The rack is flimsy compared to other like those on dual

The bike handles great. not too heavy, it’s no sports (I’m comparing to a Ninja though. It has very nice dual shocks in the rear. You can the bound AND rebound on the shocks.

You can adjust the rear ride with a tool like a big wrench very easily.

bikes are very rare in the US, stopped selling them a back. The closest thing find to a Zephyr stateside Kawasaki is probably a ZR7 or maybe a Z1000. Nothing as small as a 550 I

The bike gets great gas I’m averaging 50 MPG. I fill up around 100-120, the is pretty weak.

An annoying about this bike is it doesn’t want to stay when it’s cold. It take a good 15 minutes of to warm it up, and then it starts good. You usually have to rev it at lights, which is why I prefer to on the freeway.

The brakes are great on this Lately they have their bite, but when I got this bike, it braked well. It has a single piston on the back, and dual brake 2 up front.

More than for a bike of this size.

The is sort of a pain to work on, it’s an inline 4, it’s got a stuff packed under the The valves are shim type also, so they’re not easily But since it’s … not too bad getting to everything, especially the tank is off. The chain are very easy to make it has eccentric adjusters.

It would be even easier if the came equipped with a stand though.

Controls are nice (comparing to dual which I usually ride). The are adjustable for pull length. The control is a very nice to cancel joystick type.
