1:12 SCALE 1973 Z1 900

This is a minichamps scale of the all time classic 1973 Z1 900. It is authentically made to the last nut and bolt and painted up in the candy red and solid orange as on the original machine from onwards.

Before 1972-73 motorcycle manufacturers had a mutual not to make a bike bigger a 750cc but in the closing months of Kawasaki broke away this agreement and presented a machine that hit the world in

The Engine in the Z1 900 was a powerful 4 … delivered 82 Horse Power It was a powerful and very smooth engine due to the utilization of a double camshaft and four carburetors.

The Kawasaki Z1 900 could reach 130 mph was a phenomenal speed for a production back in the early 70’s.

in line pistons each their own tailpipes gave the an awesome look and a personal that the world was soon to as the one and only Z1 900, an instant when it first appeared and the word go a much sought bike.

The Z1 900 weighed in at 246Kg and with the rider the weight to give a real heavyweight that would grip the like glue and ride it was on rails. Safe, smooth and for even the biggest of bikers.

This machine was the true of the real super bike and of the other three main motorcycle manufacturers, Honda, and Suzuki soon followed coming out with their own bikes. For now though we will concentrate on the Scale Model Z1

On the side panel, ‘ ‘ have faithfully the badge that reads:

in big letters on the side of the engine.

So is no mistake about the bikes configuration even for the scale bike collector. This is superb, Minichamps have what I think is one of their ever scale model All the detail the cables, wiring and and bolts are finished in great

The front forks and rear suspension look and work like the original too.

The Z1 900 was equipped with a single brake on the front and ( by disc efficiency) a meagre drum on the rear. Non the less it was enough to the bike to a stop, although you had to early and gradually from speeds.

It wasn’t until the that Japanese bikes to appear with disc front and rear. If you look at of today’s super bikes, you see twin discs on the front and a big on the rear. With engine now as big as 1100, 1300, 1400, and 2000cc not forgetting Triumphs 2.3 Rocket III. its not surprising brake efficiency has advanced.

A modern super bike, big and fast, that is easily of reaching 160mph+ needs to be to stop in the shortest and indeed possible distance when to do so. On a bike you are fragile when to all the other vehicles around sort of bottom of the food if you like and your life often depend on a good set of

Despite the just adequate the Z1 900 still became an instant seller, mainly due to its amazing ultra reliability and fantastic Another deciding factor was its price of US $1,900 which was competitive for such an awesome super bike.

Apparently, in the USA the Kawasaki Z1 900 was affectionately a title, it was known as The New York as Americans love their as much as the bikes they 1,500 Kawasaki Z1 900’s exported and sold every in 1973 and the bike became the baddest, new kid on the block.

The Z1 900 became the desired super bike of all in the 1973 onwards and I am glad decided to produce a model of it as finding a mint one would probably be a very affair and basically. I can’t it. So a super scale model of one is than nothing at all.

Well you must be ‘bike if you’ve got a Z1 900 in your miniature
