Lifted this another site, not sure if the same procedure on your model, I think it is,

125/200 valve adjust:

This is a screw adjustment, no springs the 250-300.

On the right side of the on the clutch case area is a large aluminum nut. this is the adjuster. Remove the nut, loosen the 8mm head nut at the 4 oclock position. There is a flat sided adjuster the large alum nut, it turn by hand. This is you turn to adjust the power opening.

It turns about 3 full Do not turn the adjuster to hard it bottoms out as the balls inside can stuck if you bottom it hard. loose the large copper washer or the piece of rubber in the bolt hole at 4 oclock.

will just set it to the Langston and go. Find that on Transworld MX web as well as another description of how to do Also found there is a that wears in the system, the control lever, and will the bike run real bad like or carb trouble.

I chased this for one year I found it was this part bad.

The way I do the adjustment is by feel of the First warm the bike up by riding it for 5-10 min. remove the parts described Turn the adjuster one turn in any and then leave the nut cover off and the bike. You should be able to the difference from where it was set you changed it if you just rode it for a few like I suggested.

As long as there is no water, excessive dust it wont anything to ride it for a minute the cover off.

Now stop the and turn the adjuster one full back the other way from it was originally. Now ride it again and you have just ridden it three different settings. will give you a late an early opening and somewhere in the

Now that you have felt the adjuster can do go back to whatever you liked the best and now adjust it in turns to fine tune it to you like it. Some like to set it to the Langston setting and ride. Ok, but I like it a little lower/earlier.

Now to what you are trying to feel. The hit is as the bike comes on the pipe, the wheel, wheelies or some that you will understand. You have to ride the bike far to this, only 100′ or so in one and feel the hit. Maybe gears from 2-3 or 3-4 to feel the not X country riding.

Once you have it where you it should be then put it all back and then go for a ride to see if it is what you
