Knight gives KTM 350 EXC-F First Enduro Outing

Enduro 3 Champion places a strong overall at Barcelona IEWC

Enduro Factory Team David Knight ensured KTM’s new 350 EXC-F machine both a positive and memorable outing as the Enduro 3 World rode to an impressive overall result at the 12 th running of the Barcelona Enduro. Despite his participation only a one-off appearance in the ’11 Enduro World Championship certainly gave the event his all and his runner-up finish thanks to a score card.

With much of David’s training having been towards the start of the ’11 Enduro Championship the former IEWC winner was soon up to speed and just how capable the new 350cc machine is. Second in the first David was then forced to his way from the back of the pack in the final after a mistake saw his early in the race. Going on to third Knight then his opening result with a runner-up result in the last which was more than to earn him the overall runner-up behind team-mate Blazusiak.

David’s next event is the round of the British Sprint Championship, which takes in Wales on February 12/13.

Knight: ‘My main goal was to the new 350 enduro bike a successful and I think I did that. Qualification really well and I managed to set the time. That not only how good the bike is but also that my speed is where it to be even though this is a one off ride for me. I always knew the three seven lap finals going to be tough, which were. Taddy had a little too pace for me so I just tried to my own race each time.
