Guzzi is famous for its big, v-twin machines.  But in the late they introduced their displacement alternatives to the bigger and touring machines.  Although big have always been in America, where motorcycles are a luxury purchase, Europeans find smaller bikes owing to sometimes high on big bikes and the extremely high of fuel.

The little Guzzi’s never very well here and are rare now.  They’re little machines, well-finished bikes, not the cheap, plastic and commuters we often get as small-displacement here in the states.

These 350cc and 500cc [and 650cc] Guzzis are styled their big siblings, but share no significant parts with The big twins are very conventional in but the small Guzzis feature unusual “Heron” style that improved economy and manufacturing.

The V50 Monza was a true sportbike, one with a fairly small 45bhp isn’t all that to play with, but the bike is light, handling is excellent, very good, and the shaft very un-agricultural…

Just this year I the Monza , turned on the fuel, the and the key, pressed the starter and she up immediately. After a warm up on the I changed what looked brand new oil. Since, I topped up the tires, and changed out the fluid.

A quick detail has given to the bike and I have it about 10 miles.

I believe this Monza is as and close to uncrated condition, being restored, as you will anywhere in the world.

This presents us with a dilemma: the Guzzis are great, affordable and machines that happen to be motorcycles to put miles on.  So you’ve got one with so few, it a shame to destroy the originality by it.

But what else do you do with a fun little machine?
