1984 Moto Guzzi Le III for Sale

A very nice Guzzi LeMans III is up for sale on but time is short!

The LM III was made 1981-1984, so this is the last of this particular bodywork.  I the Mark I’s, but this is my favorite of all the later LeMans and it looks very sharp in like crisp origami.  not a complete, ground-up redesign, the III was a major reworking of the flagship whereas the LM II/CX100 was primarily a upgrade.

The LM III incorporated new square cylinder that set the style for Guzzi through today and, the compression was decreased slightly, and horsepower were both slightly due to improved breathing and manufacturing techniques employed production that made the of the existing design.

While the maintained the sleek café and bikini fairing of the original it was updated with a significantly angular look that was in Guzzi’s wind tunnel: the small winglet spoilers were intended to deflect air the cylinder heads.  The dash was changed, from a bare-bones of gauges to a much more dash made of rubber was touted as a safety feature and a very classy white tach paired with a speedo and voltmeter.

The ad is very comprehensive and suggests a owner: 1984 Moto Le Mans III for Sale.

All the parts are new inside of the Dellortos, for the slides which I also to replace, but MG Cycle didn’t them in stock.  The bike a little rough at idle and I the float heights need to be set as as the carbs needing to be synched.  I was riding it and rolled on the throttle, it great.

The original floats were but MG Cycle only had 8.5g not sure if the lighter floats a difference to the way it runs at idle.

These Mark III bikes are starting to see a rise in popularity and just a few years ago, you get a decent Mark I bike for the asking price shown. recently, the Mark II and III bikes been cheap enough they end up being modified good LeMans I replicas, into bad ones, or chopped up by hot of various skill levels.  The It Now” price seems a bit on the side, but this one looks to be in shape and these are likely to in value as the striking 1980’s goes from being “dated” to being considered
